Good place to stay in Kaikoura
Had an amazing stay. I would have rated a 5 star, but when booking, the reservation was for an ocean view room but the hotel came back and said no, it wasnt when it clearly said so on the Hotels.com site. The person who I was communicating with seemed rather unhelpful and said "would try to fit into a sea view room" but that wasnt confirmation enough and when I tried to get a definite answer or a contact persons name, I didnt get any replies... so rather disappointing on the customer service side. In the end, i contacted Sudima help desk at head office and they came back with confirmation it was a sea view room which we were pleased this was confiemed. The staff on the front desk were very nice and helpful. Enjoyed our stay.
