Enjoy an amazing experience at our centrally-located place. Our ocean-view condo is a 5 minute walk to the beach and an 8 minute walk to downtown Kona, where you will find awesome restaurants, bars, shops, the farmers market, churches, a great atmosphere and nightlife!

We offer a super cozy and comfortable stay with everything you could possibly need to make your vacation memorable!
Our 1BR 1Bath condo is beautifully decorated to make you feel comfortable and pampered while visiting the Island. It has a tropical feel to it with plenty of amenities. It has a fully stocked kitchen, complete with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. We offer a super comfy king size bed, plenty of linens and towels.

You will also find beach chairs, a beach umbrella, snorkeling gear for 2, a small cooler and plenty of beach towels.

We have 5G WIFI and a big screen smart TV where you can stream all your favorite shows.

We provide all of our guests with an amazing Welcome gift and a started kit for your coffee (Keurig), bathroom toiletries and laundry needs.

You will want to stay on the Island forever :-)

Guest access
We’ve made this very easy - no keys to fish out of the lock box. Entry is by using a code provided before your arrival. Simple, no need for # sign or enter
just the four digits. If you come in in the dark, the button above the numbers allows you to illuminate the keypad so you can see it. This code is good only for your use, and during the dates of your visit.

Other things to note:
Most of the time, the island breeze and the fans we have installed in the unit, provide enough fresh air to be very comfortable. We get an amazing influx of ocean breeze due to our location. However, at times, the heat and humidity proves to be too much, and the air conditioner may be needed to cool off the space. Electricity is very expensive on the island, so we monitor the use of the air conditioner.

Our recommendation while you stay at our unit is to open all the windows (living room and kitchen) as well as leave the lanai glass door and the front door open, only close the screen doors to allow for the breeze to flow through the unit. This along with the pretty strong ceiling fans, make the space very comfortable.

My property Manager, David, comes by on the day of your arrival and opens all the windows and lanai doors, as well as turns on all the fans, to vent the space. You are welcome to continue to do so during your stay. At night, I recommend that you close the curtains on the lanai (for privacy) while leaving the glass doors open. This will keep the air circulating at night and make it more comfortable for you.
However, at times, the heat and humidity proves to be too much, and the air conditioner may be needed to cool off the space.

If you decide to use the Air Conditioning in the unit, we gently ask that you use it responsibly:

1. Always close all windows and the lanai door when the AC is in use.
2. Only turn it on when you are staying indoors for an extended period of time and off when you are not in the unit.
3. Please set the AC to 72 degrees minimum, even at night. The condo is small enough that it can be cooled off rather quickly and there is no need to set it below 72 to make it comfortable. The use of the fans at the same time, helps tremendously!

Although it was hot and humid on arrival, the A/C did cool the apartment after running it fir one night. The small pool was great, and we were often in it all alone. Walua Social Club restaurant right across the street was great. Short walk to Huggo’s and the beautiful waterfront bar at Royal Kona hotel. Lots of restaurants in the town, just a 15 minute walk down the hill. We left the windows open to hear the birds and feel the breeze. You can see the ocean from the dining area. Plenty of towels. Plenty of storage. Host was very responsive when we had a question. My favorite find was a sarong that was draped on the wall in the bedroom. Maybe it was intended as decoration, but I wore that thing while at home in the condo every day. It was perfect for the hot weather. Very thoughtful amenity.

When I walked into the bedroom and saw the words "...Blessed... Thankful... Grateful..." on the wall I knew I had chosen well. It's exactly how I felt my entire stay. The location was great, very close to the main strip in Kona, but just enough removed from it. Lennis was just great, and everything was exactly as she described it.

Thank you so much for opening your home to island visitors. The space was just the right size, very comfortable and close to restraints, shops and beaches. We had everything we needed from a great bed, fully equipped kitchen with the welcome gifts. The welcome was such a nice touch and needed after our long journey. We easily walked down into old Kona to the farmers market and to see historic areas. Thank you for a lovely stay. We hope to be back

My wife and I visited for 9 days in February 2025. When we came into the unit we noticed it was very clean. The kitchen had all the things needed to make a meal. In addition, the owner provided wine, coffee and some snacks to get us started. The bathroom shower had plenty of room, hot water with good water pressure. The bed was very comfortable. In the bedroom closet it had some extra snorkeling equipment, beach chairs and a beach umbrella. The unit has a nice view of the sunset and is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. There are major department stores nearby (Walmart, Target, Cosco) although you need a car to get to them. We went to Walmart and they had a nice grocery department and most of the prices were less than other grocery stores in the area.The complex pool was a short walk and not crowded during the day. The beaches near us were rocky. Don’t forget beach shoes as the sand is rough and the rocks slippery.

This unit had it all! Comfy bed, fully appointed kitchen with nice small touches like ziploc bags and cooler. No full sets of snorkeling gear but Snorkel Bobs is within walking distance and only $65 for a week ($75 or so for prescription goggles, which can in handy.) Only disappointing thing was that the deck was for looks only. No place to sit outside and enjoy the weather.

Terrific rental

Stayed for 5 days Jan. 2025. This is dialled in as a rental. It has everything for a beach stay available. Really well equipped kitchen, surprisingly large space. Giant TV to relax in the evening.The pool is small but decent, location is close enough to walk ( a good idea as parling is expensive ) to the tourist strip downtown. Would definitely recommend it!

Wonderful Unit

The property grounds are very well maintained as is the pool and surrounding area. The unit is wonderful! Beautifully decorated. It has everything you need for going to the beach (ice chest, chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear and more. Location is amazing with an ocean view. Close to eateries, shops, beaches, Farmer’s Market. We would stay here again without hesitation. Lennis, the host is a great communicator as well! Property manager is prompt and helpful. Just needed help with lanai door

A beautiful stay in Kailua Village

What a lovely trip! Our arrival was heralded by an incredible storm, and the winter skies were mottled with clouds and occasional overcast days; welcoming us pasty pacific northwesterners to visit the beaches under shelter from the burning sun. The place is extremely well situated, with almost immediate access to the beach, the Ali'i trolley, and the tourist area. During the storm, the view of the surf under pounding rains made for a memorable and cozy breakfast inside. On dry days, we walked to the farmers market for fresh fruit. The only downside to the apartment is that it's an open-air building. You can hear neighbors in the courtyard, the occasional loud motorcycle sounds like it's right inside, and, to state this delicately, it would not be an ideal honeymoon suite.

Sweet Kona condo

This is a lovely little condo, tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. The owner, Lennis, has thought of just about every little added touch that makes a stay away from home easier (fluffy towels, nice bedding, all the little appliances, snorkel gear, beach chairs, some condiments, printer, coffee, toiletries, beach bag, cooler, etc) she obviously takes great pride in the place. The well kept complex is quiet -it is just a short walk from shops and such in Kona near the sea wall but gives just enough distance to be quiet at night. It’s easy to access the main highway by going south on Waimea drive. There are a couple of small beaches you can walk to. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. You can see the ocean, cruise ships from the patio door. There’s just a mini balcony but if you open the patio doors, really the whole kitchen table area is open to the outdoors. It was just a cozy, quaint, safe place to retreat to after the sun went down and I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about my stay here rent it if you can!
