Beautiful home in Kailua-Kona with easy access to all the Island.

Our 3 bedroom 2 bath vacation house is conveniently located just 5 minutes from Kailua-Kona town and its many shops, restaurants and grocery stores. You are just 10-15 minutes from many of Kona's most popular beaches, snorkel spots and activities. Only 15 minutes from the Kona Airport [KOA] its a great location to enjoy Kona and the Big Island.

Granite and marble abound in this renovated Hawaiian style home. The Master bedroom "The Palm room" has a king bed, walk-in closet and recently updated private full bath and private access to the Lanai and garden through the french doors. The second bedroom "The Seashell room" has a queen bed with large closet and opens up to the outdoor Lanai and the gardens thru a large sliding glass door. The third bedroom "The Ocean room" has a queen bed and a large closet, plus toy for all ages and an adventure of ocean animal stuffed toys.
The second full bathroom has marble appointments and has been recently painted and updated. All rooms in the house have ceiling and stand-up fans.
The kitchen is fully stocked and has most everything for your cooking needs, including a large refrigerator. The bar counter opens to the dinning/living room with 3 tall barstools and a view of the TV.
The beautiful entertainment center offers a 55” HD flat screen TV with WiFi internet access, CableTV service, HD dvd player and various movies, cards and games. We are very child friendly with lots of toys, books, puzzles. Also, we have added some extra perks. We provide you the use of beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, snorkel sets, boogie boards and sand toys for younger kids. No need to buy or rent any of these beach necessities!
The Lanai has a barbecue grill and is set up for outdoor dinning under a shaded pergola with ceiling fan and night lights. A hose in front to wash the sand off from your beach gear, and towel racks to hang your beach towels on the Lanai. There is also a washer and dryer to clean up after your activities. A great place for 2 to 6 persons in a home away from home at a great price.
This is a hosted site. You have your own private entrances, Lanai, Laundry and entire home and parking for 1 cars, but the driveway is shared.

Great House!

The house was very clean with comfortable beds. We so appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler for our use! It was nice to have a stocked kitchen, and the backyard patio was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again!!

An amazing location to enjoy the Big Island from

Gary and Sheri are wonderful hosts, and this home is an amazing place to stay when exploring the Big Island or just relaxing in Kailua-Kona! The home is clean, comfortable, and ideally located. It includes necessities such as the bedrooms, a wonderful living room, and fully functional kitchen, washer and dryer, and everything you need for a day at the beach- beach loungers, umbrellas, breach towels, and even a pail and shovel to make sand castles! The home has several gorgeous beaches nearby within 10 minutes drive. If you like exploring, you can get to any part of the Big Island within two hours, and half of the island within one. The only downside is that the home is located on a commonly-used road that regularly has traffic, but we didn't find it a problem. Don't miss this place!

Well Equipped Family Home

This house is extremely well eqipped and comfortable. There is lots of beach gear: chairs, brollies, snorkelling gear, boogie boards, life jackets in different sizes. Lots of games, dvds, stuffies, books, toys. Yes, the house is on a main road but most of the time there is room to turn around in the driveway. I live in a large city and didn't find the traffic noise bothersome. To me, it's ordinary background noise. There is a very good washer and dryer that the hosts do not charge extra for. There is an outdoor hose you can use to rinse rinse off sand from the beach. The only thing that would be nicer is if it were an actual shower so one could strip right down and completely shower outsideside charge extra for.

Clean and good value.

We enjoyed the location of this home, its close to everything. It was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. Communication with Sheri was very good, we had no problems. As other reviews state, it is on a busy road but parking was good and the lot allows you to turn around so you dont have to back onto the road. Road noise was minimal, didnt bother us at all. Mahalo Sheri!

The owners are really good at communication. The property is clean and comfortable enough for short vacation. Although it needs some updates, maybe adding a dishwasher should be helpful. It is located on a busy road, people drive very fast on the road. My room is on the roadside, and I was wake up by road noise early in the morning. There are four parking spots, two are under cover and two are not covered. Both owner and the tenants at back occupy one of the undercover spots, the tenants also occupy one of the none covered spot. We had one car and was able to park on the fourth spot. If you have a large group and with more than one car, you will have trouble to park it on the property.

Everything you could want for beach days, comfortable beds, and wonderful communication with owner. Road noise can be loud at times for sensitive sleepers but the frogs singing make up for it.

Hidden Oasis

This little home has everything you need - and then some! It's a comfortable base from which to explore the entire Island. There is ample room to relax and plenty of amenities, from a well-stocked kitchen to a covered lanai to all kinds of beach necessities. The owner/host was always congenial and responsive. The only drawbacks were the busy road nearby and the distance from downtown Kona, but the pluses of this property far outweighed these minor inconveniences. We would highly recommend this location!

Beautiful and Clean Kailua Kona Home

We really enjoyed our stay at Sheri’s home. She literally had everything you would ever need and her co hosts are just a phone call away. The home is super close to everywhere we needed to be. I highly recommend Sheri’s home if you’re looking for a place to stay in Kona!

Where to begin
.This house is by far the most well equipped place to stay we have ever experienced! Everything you will need to not only cook but spices, utensils, bbq, with several extra tanks of fuel. The laundry is fantastic, detergent, dryer sheets the list goes on. Plenty of paper towels, beach towels ect. Wait there’s more! No need to rent beach chairs, boogie boards umbrellas or snorkeling gear it’s already here stowed nicely and in perfect repair! We will be back next year and we will not shop around. This is the place to stay!! Loved it and the owners! so perfect!!!

Everything about this B&B was perfect. The owners should teach at B&B School. Very attractive, super comfortable, and extremely well supplied. Everything we needed (and more) was provided, from kitchen to rooms, and amenities for beach play. Bravo!! Mahalo.

Great property and location!

This was a fabulous place to stay, great for our mixed group of family & friends! Everything as advertised, plus some nice extra touches, like all of the beach gear available for use! We had a great time, and it was a fantastic location for exploring the island.

Home base for our relaxing vacation

Sheri and Gary were great at communicating with us and stocked the home with with everything we could need! Their snorkel gear and beach chairs saved us the rental fees, and we enjoyed having dinner on the patio. The short drive to Kailua-Kona made it convenient to go shopping and eat out. We LOVED our first trip to the Big Island and our experience at the house was a significant part of it.

Lovely, well-equipped house

We enjoyed our stay and the access to the road well-traveled. The road outside the house is very busy, but that particular road was an easy access to places we wanted to go. The house was very clean and well-equipped. Before we chose this house to rent, we had read that some rentals were did not provide some of the necessities for living and we would have to purchase everything, This house provided quite a lot, including condiments in the refrigerator, T.P., paper towels and lots of regular towels for going to the ocean. We especially enjoyed our talking to and communication with the owner of the house.
