■ We love the open air lifestyle and find it comfortable with the doors and windows open and the fans going. The breeze on the island is just amazing. However, we understand that the summer months can be on the hotter side, so you may need to use the AC. If that is the case, we kindly ask our guest to use it responsibility as electricity is extremely expensive on the Island:
1. Make sure to close all windows and doors when using the AC.
2. Please only turn it on while you are in the unit and off when you are away. It takes very little time to cool the space off, so no need to leave it on all day.
3. Please set the temperature to 72 degrees, even at night. Again, the space cools off very quickly and there is not need to set the temperature below 72.

I truly appreciate your help in keeping electricity costs down.

PLEASE NOTE:

■ The unit pictured, Hale Keauhou Iki, is the unit you are renting.

■ Our HOA has a Registration form with basic contact information (name, phone, emergency contact), that is required to be filled out and signed to stay on property.

■ Condo is mostly 'open air'. One side is glass sliders with screen and wood louvers. Back of unit is all Glass Jalousie with screens. You will be extremely comfortable with the Hawaiian breeze, but as mentioned before the air conditioning unit can be used during the peak hot days.

■ Full use of all closets in the condo.

■ Keauhou Resort is a privately and individually owned Condominium. It is NOT a resort or hotel. There is NO staff on the property. However, we do provide a contact person for emergencies.

Great condo! Very well appointed with all your needs! The bed is very comfy! The location is fantastic! It is walkable to the Keauhou Shopping Center for restaurants, groceries and shopping. The pool area here is really great! The grounds are very well maintained at the resort! I highly recommend this place!

Lennis was very responsive when needed. This place has EVERYTHING you'll need for your stay. I fact, this was the best supplied rental I have ever had the opportunity to use. This location is my favorite as you're out of the busy Kona area but walkable to amazing beaches, close to Captain Cook area and closer to Volcano Nat'l Park. It is quiet and peaceful without large crowds at the pool area ( great for the evening swim). We can't wait to come back!

Great location!

Great location, close to everything and lovely. Unit is ideal for a couple but also for worked for our small family. Comfortable bed and it is very close to the lovely pool area as well as Keahou Bay for snorkel trips, the beaches on Ali’i Drive, the KTA. Enjoyed our stay!

Gorgeous and Serene Condo with a great location!

We loved staying at this truly gorgeous condo. The beautifully decorated space with its serene atmosphere gives the condo a luxury bungalow feel. The owner communicated well with us which made for less stess when arriving on the Island late at night. This is also our favorite area of the Island because of its proximity to 2 step and Keauhou Bay as well as for its layed back atmosphere. This is our new favorite place to stay at on the Big Island. We can't wait to revisit.

The perfect stay

What a perfect day. My wife and I came here for a few days ahead of a larger group meeting, and we could not have asked for a better location, house or property accommodations. It didn’t hurt that Lynn was an amazing host who was quick to answer any questions and just great to deal with overall. If you’re looking for a spot near the heart of Kohana, but away from all of the traffic areas you would be hard-pressed to find something better than this.

Love this condo.

Beautiful condo that is close to grocery and activities we were interested in. Close to pool which is where we spent lots of time relaxing. Condo is large and provides us lots of room and the convenience of a washer/dryer. We are planning on returning next year.

Great place for a couple!

This place is beautiful and in a fantastic location! And the owner, Lennis, was absolutely fantastic to communicate with. She was very helpful and flexible, and always communicating with us and quick to respond to questions. The condo is bright, airy, and in a quiet small complex, yet close to everything. Charming!

Everything about this stay/location screamed "charming!" From the decor to the pool to the peek at the ocean from the patio--we were in love with our stay. Lennis communicated effectively, left us welcome gifts, and hosted beautifully. The location was perfect to explore the Kona coast. We hope to be able to return one day.

Nice updated condo

The condo was great with a cool, tropical vibe. It was nicely updated with lots of useful amenities. It’s location just south of Kona was a great base for exploring our favorite sites toward the south, like Two Step and the Captain Cook Monument. There’s a convenient shopping center just 2 minutes away. We would definitely stay there again.

The place was amazing. The house was clean and just as described. Everything was close by and we loved having a centralized location to stay. The outdoor space was very relaxing and the neighborhood is very quiet. Would definitely recommend for your stay in Kona.

From the moment we entered the condo we felt "at-home" and on vacation mode. The amenities and eye to detail were beyond our expectations. Yes...there is no A/C, but open the windows and sliding door, turn on the fans and enjoy the cool island breeze. Already planning the next visit...

Great Home Away from Home on the Big Island

The Condo had everything you need for a long stay or a shorter one. Love the location, quieter area walking distance to shopping center, Keauhou Bay, and Saturday Farmers Market at shopping center. Lennis is a great host with prompt replies to any questions you may have.. It was nice to have two beach chairs and a beach umbrella as well as a little cooler to take to the beach or snorkelling area. The condo has been beautifully renovated and maintained, and has all the cooking utensils you will need. The common BBQ outside the pool area is clean well maintained and was an ease to use, with not many others using it. We BBQ 3 times it was great. The two pools, and resort grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. Everything in the condo is in good working order and is a very relaxing environment. The king size bed we found to be very comfortable and the shower is great. The assigned parking for the condo is right outside your entrance door, very handy. The condo is at the end of a road that doesn't get much traffic. We would stay here again and would have no problem recommending it to our friends
