In the late fall of 2025, the central air conditioning system at Hale Kona Kai was replaced. The HVAC equipment that services the individual condo was also inspected, with and any and all required maintenance/repairs completed. The air conditioning is in peak condition at this time.

The condo is a bit dated, but considering the reasonable price for being right on the water, pretty much what I expected, and clean. Everything about this place was perfect. The property manager was wonderful to work with and the condo itself was clean and had everything we could possibly need. Not to mention a wonderful view from the lanai! We will definitely be returning hopefully very soon!

Fantastic location a few minutes' walk into town, lovely view of the ocean without it being directly west, you can look to the right and see the mountain in the morning. It was exactly like it looks in the pictures but there's a new non-carpet floor now. Furniture clean and comfy, new memory foam on the bed. Nice welcome bag of coffee beans, there is a grinder! Only gripe was no soap pod for the dishwasher and no dustpan.

HALE KONA KAI 211 - A DREAM CONDO

Perfect location and the condo was clean, easy to access and close to town. Well stocked kitchen (dishes, cookware, etc.). Our only decision each day was 'pool' (overlooks the ocean!) or 'lagoon' (steps from condo, lanai actually overlooks it). Complex is small (about 36 units), exterior in good shape with active maintenance to maintain it which we found encouraging. Booked direct with Kona Beach Properties - Tracy and Tiana were WONDERFUL! We plan to return same time next year - booked and excited.
