Delightful Lodgings

We were very pleased with the unit. Helen, our contact, was an excellent communicator. She made sure we had everything we needed. The unit was spotless and well-stocked. The ocean breeze during the day and the breeze from the mountains at night kept the unit extremely comfortable. There are plenty of ceiling fans, too, which are totally silent. So, we never needed to turn on the bedroom AC. The view from the lanai is delightful.I give this place a top rating!

If you’ve ever wondered what heaven is like, you will find out when you stay at Helen‘s Ohana, and Helen your host is your own personal angel,,, words alone cannot describe how wonderful of an experience I had for the two weeks I stayed there.

Exceeded all expectations!

This place exceeded all expectations! Helen was very attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay special! She even provided a large basket of fruit from her own farm, which we enjoyed all week long. We've never tasted better pineapple, oranges, bananas, and lemons! The condo is clean, quiet, spacious, and very, very comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and hot tub every evening. We took most of our meals on the large balcony, which provides a great view of the pool and the lovely grounds. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and snorkels were provided, which we made use of several times during the week. When we return to the Big Island, this is where we'll stay -- no need to look anywhere else!

Our 11 day stay on the Big Island was fabulous! Ms Helen was so gracious to provide us with fresh fruit and avocados from her farm and a new rice cooker when I could not find one in the kitchen. Amazing ! The condo was clean, quiet, roomy and had everything we needed! Beach towels, chairs, snorkel equipment, paper plates, coolers and more! The location is close to downtown Kona and to a grocery store and restaurants. The A/C in the bedrooms is helpful on muggy nights! The porch has a gorgeous view and relaxing environment to watch sunsets. The pool and hot tub were refreshing after long days exploring! Thank you Helen for sharing your beautiful condo with us!

Gorgeous property with a view! Quiet complex. Very well appointed, with everything you'll need for your stay. Helen was an amazing host! Met us at the condo and showed us around, gave us a few recommendations for activities and restaurants etc, and also checked in during our stay to make sure all was well.

Excellent condo

From the condo to the property grounds, this condo was beautiful and very comfortable. Everything is very clean and very well taken care of. The condo owner made sure we had clear directions to the condo, entry directions and even had her amazing coffee, fruit and avocados for us. She checked in with us to make sure everything was OK and was very easy to contact. We all enjoyed our stay here and very highly recommended it.

Gorgeous property

You will not be disappointed. Location is centrally located for everything we had planned, snorkeling, coffee tours, national parks and so much history. The sunsets are beautiful from anywhere in the home. It was incredibly clean, comfortable and quiet to relax. Helen is lovely and brought us yummy avocados and coffee and made sure we were taken care of. Such an enjoyable time.

Great place to stay for Kona vacation. Recommend the condo highly. We would stay again next time we are in Kona! Unit had everything we needed and our host brought us fresh fruit and delicious coffee.

We certainly found a gem in this property. The unit was the best we have had. So well thought out for guests. Furnishings were great. Helen, our host, thought of everything, so well stocked. Comfy bed, fluffy towels, coffee, beach chairs, snorkel equipment, Having the option for air-conditioning when the winds are not blowing was a great feature. The view was amazing. Hope to be back again soon.

Fantastic Stay!

The condo was the absolutely best!! Beautiful, great view of the ocean from the balcony, close to shopping and exciting activities. The host, Helen, is a Godsend! She is the nicest and most resourceful of all! If we come back to the island we will definitely stay here.

Quiet Island Paradise

Helen was an excellent and gracious host. The fresh papaya, sugarloaf, and coffee was a nice friendly touch. The condo was well stocked and very clean. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a nice quiet place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

Beautiful Condo

Going to the Big Island we had some must haves on the list. We needed a hot tub and pool, AC, and easy access for my elderly father. This condo offered all that and more! In all of our stays this was perhaps the best stocked condo that we stayed at. When we arrived the owner was there to greet us and show us all the remotes and go over any questions, we may have which was greatly appreciated. She also had beautiful pineapple and plenty of coffee which was such a nice touch. A couple of things...the AC is not central air but portable units which worked well for us. The closest shopping mall is over a mile away on a busy road which in the heat is not an easy mile. This is also where the trolley stops. In case you have teenagers there is really nothing that they can walk to. The condo is also pretty strict on kids playing in the pool such as no Marco Polo or inflatables as many of the owners actually live on site. Just things to note.

When we arrived, the unit looked great - tastefully and thoughtfully furnished and decorated. We were met with flowers and fruit (best pineapple and avocado ever). Helen, our host, was very helpful during the stay as well. The stay in Helen's unit made for a very nice time in Kona.

This host does it right

Lovely property, we just spent 3 weeks there. I could live on that huge lanai with the amazing view. One of the best stocked rentals we have ever stayed in. Owners pay attention to detail. Enjoyed the Keahou area, grocery store and restaurants just down the street. Helen shared the bounty of her farm with us, best avocados, limes, lemons etc. what a treat! Be sure to go on snorkel adventures and definitely the night manta ray trip that leave right from Keahou Bay. We also enjoyed two local farmers markets, Wednesday down at the Outrigger was mostly handicrafts and Saturday by the Long’s drugs was mostly produce from local farms.

Wonderful Stay in Kailua-Kona Condo

The condo, the view, and all its amenities were exactly as described in the listing. Helen greeted us on our arrival with a lovely basket of fresh fruit, homemade preserves, and coffee beans from her farm. Delicious! The condo was extremely well equipped and attractively decorated with lovely furnishings. The only drawback was the mandatory social distancing at the pool. The four of us had to keep our loungers six feet apart, which seemed silly since we were staying together in the condo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our condo stay! It had everything we could need or want while visiting the Big Island. When we weren’t exploring the island we spent our time at the condo on the lani listening to the birds, viewing the ocean or beautiful sunsets. The lani view is second floor, but entrance is ground floor level. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything we needed when we wanted to cook. Helen, the property owner, is terrific to work with and generously offered fresh island fruits when we arrived. The towels and linens are luxurious. We appreciated having beach items for our use! Thank you Helen for sharing your property with us while visited paradise!!

This is one of the cleanest and comfortable units we have stayed in.

Accessible location, great sunset views over the ocean. A very refreshing pool. All the amenities and kitchen was well stocked. Host and hostess were very accommodating.

Beautiful property. Clean well appointed condo. Personal service by the host was above and beyond. Perfect for two adult couples. Two king beds with separate bathrooms. The four of us were amazed that we needed nothing as far as supplies were concerned. Every kitchen gadget to cleaning supplies all plentiful. The complex is a quiet and low key. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area was spotlessly clean.

Better than the photos!

Island Paradise on the Big Island. This condo is true to the photos. What you don't see in the photos are birds chirping, nice light breeze and beautiful sunsets! Our host Helen is always just a phone call away. She supplied us with beverages, coffee beans, apple-bananas and white pineapples! What a treat every morning or a healthy snack anytime. We cooked out on our own grill. The views are amazing!! We shared a rental car with family and used Uber. We walked to an open air market. Several beaches to pick from. Attended our daughter's wedding on the Pacific Ocean! Deffinately coming back! We loved our time here! Thank you Helen for sharing your piece of Heaven!

Convenient location, clean and cozy property

Conveniently located with access to the beach, shopping, coffee farms and other attractions. Convenient for everyday shopping, KTA Super a little north, ChoiceMart a little south, fast food and restaurants within a 5-15 minute drive to find everything we needed. The Property was very clean and very well maintained. Waking up to birdsong in the morning and having breakfast on the balcony with a view of the ocean was very relaxing.
