We have always enjoyed staying at Kona Reef and have stayed in this unit in the past and many others... love the view and condo the location is prime. This trip however we experienced some roaches, a few the day we got there and a few more during our stay. I understand that it’s a tropical environment however I highly recommend a pest treatment as there is clearly an issue.Again, we love Kona Reef and will be back! Thank you

This is a very clean and tidy condo. It has just enough of everything we needed. The view is gorgeous. We enjoyed watching surfers and the evening sunsets. It's an easy walk into town. We would definitely stay here again.

A great location in walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops. The bedroom is quite bright at night due to lights outside, so we needed sleep masks to sleep. The view from the lanai is beautiful and you can watch the sunset from it.

Great location!

The condo was nice, but the view of the ocean from the lanai off the living room made it truly special. Having a drink while watching the sunset over the water was absolutely wonderful. Easy walk to everything. Very nice place. Would rent again.

Great location

Beautiful view. Saw whales, dolphins, turtles. Explored the tide pools at low tide. Enjoyed watching the surfers. Great location and everything within a mile of easy walking to shops and restaurants in Kona. Farmers market had lots of fresh ripe fruit. Quiet except for the ocean waves (they were loud). Unit was nice and we had everything we needed.

AMAZING

This place is so amazing! The view was spectacular including the gorgeous sunsets AND moonsets. The sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep every night. It’s very centrally located so we were able to see many sites on the island. It had all the amenities we needed and the pool area has several BBQs. My fiancĂ© proposed to me on the lanai just after a beautiful sunset so this with always have a special place in my heart! Can’t wait to come back!!

Lovely condo with 10 star view!

The condo was perfect for our week visit to the Big Island- convenient to walk to local restaurants and shops but also easy drive to gorgeous beaches, snorkeling and cool hiking. But we found it hard to leave the large, private balcony overlooking the ocean - absolutely the best view we've ever had, just a few feet away! We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

mattress is terrible-soft and mushy, needs to be replaced. bedding sheets non cotton material not great. Incredibly cheap to have only 2 SMALL rolls of toilet paper. Check in at 4 PM is kind of late, a bit earlier would be nice.
