Built on the fragrant pathway from the mountain to the sea (Mauka to Makai ) it is a great example of Hawaiian single wall construction. Open floor plan with large windows to let the ocean and mountain breezes inn. Large master bedroom with ceiling fan. The lanai sleeping area has two full size beds . We provide everything you will need for your day at the beach mask, snorkels, fins, beach chairs, boogie boards .

Hosts were nice, place was very clean and so close to everything. I wished we had an extra night here so we could use the snorkel gear! I loved the patio area - saw a beautiful sunset. It was also perfect for morning coffee. The only thing I would suggest is the host should have turned on the fans since the space was quite warm when we arrived. The decor was nice - felt old school. There were five of us, all adults, and there was plenty of room.

This is a great budget stay in a convenient location. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the waterfront/Kona town. Onsite parking is a huge plus, you won’t find free parking at most of the hotels and almost all of the parking in Kona town is paid parking now so the quick walk to town is nice. There are grocery stores within walking distance, so you can easily make use of the full kitchen in this place. Photos in listing are a good representation of the property. There is a sliver of an ocean view from the lanai. We were here in March and it was definitely cold enough at night to use a blanket with just the windows open. Ample fans. Host had excellently communication. I would stay here again!
