Room was large with comfortable seating, good beds, had a balcony that overlooked Thompson River which we enjoyed sitting on. Breakfasts were good and staff very helpful. Is easy to get to from major highways and only a Km. from downtown Kamloops, but felt like you were away from the busyness of the city.

Comfortable place to stay

Loved this comfortable motel for a one night road trip stop. Comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the river. Easy parking and helpful staff.

Good value for the money. I booked this hotel because it was close to the river, excellent view! Would have been nice to get coffee refreshed on the 2nd night, probably could have just walked down and asked, but other than that, no complaints.

Very old building. There are bugs in and outside room, told it is harmless but still unsettling when we found a bug in my daughter's sneakers. Empty bottle and can were left discarded right by the railing outside our room. Looks like been there for a while. Not worth 245 Cad per night after taxes price tag.

Nice river front with some challenges

Staff: all fantastic, friendly and kind. I saw a breakfast attendant heat up some milk for a guest. It was very nice to see. Location: on the river. The outdoor area is very nice to have some take out food with a lovely river view. Room: the smell in room was quite unpleasant. The AC unit in the wall is extremely loud, so loud that even with the ear plugs it’s hard to sleep. Some rooms exit directly on the parking lot and some, lower level floor rooms have access to the front lawn adjacent to the river. Kitchen/kitchenette: very well stocked with dishes and plates. Bed: clean bedding and adequate mattress. Bathroom: newly remodelled with a soaker tub and a nice shower head. The bathroom is also nicely stocked with single use toiletries and clean towels. Breakfast: I had some omelettes and sausage. It was very good considering the price of room. Overall our room was large, and well appointed and the this property has excellent potential. However, if you don’t like very noisy AC in the room as well as somewhat noisy fridge and a lot of light at night at river front room, this may not be for you if you’re seeking a good quality sleep.
