This is a great option for families! The tv in the bathtub was a big hit with our kids. The front desk staff were so helpful and kind. They drove us to the station with all of our luggage when we checked out. We didn’t need the washing machine but if we did it would have been so easy to dry the clothes in the bathroom with the dry function in the ventilation system. Definitely recommend and will stay again if we’re in the area!

We loved this property! The room was fantastic and had loads of space (especially storage for bags etc). We were travelling with our baby and there was a cot, a high chair and baby soap! Also having our own washing machine was so helpful (the property also provided washing powder) and there was space to dry the clothes too. There was a supermarket nearby, which was also excellent and had a wide range of food and drink. Finally, we must give a special mention to the staff who were absolutely fantastic. They were so friendly, welcoming and accommodating - we cannot praise them enough. Overall, we loved the property and would recommend it to everyone, especially to people travelling with babies.

This place was wonderful in several ways. Spacious accommodation that was very clean. We truly appreciated the space and the number of beds for our family that gave us a lot more comfort that other hotel rooms in Japan. Kana-san is amazing— she is a gem of an employee and was extremely helpful and very friendly. Always going out of her way to help with information and anything we needed. We were so grateful she was working overtime the night we arrived, as we were having trouble parking and she guided us through that and the entire parking process. She never once looked begrudging abt her time. We met her again the 2nd day and it was always great talking to her. She shared several recommendations and was always ready to help. On the other hand, the male staff that was around at other times seems very unwilling to help or engage with guests. Not a smile, or even a greeting. He stayed at the reception table mostly and looked at his phone, and left guests to their own devices or mini-struggles with the things at the breakfast table. We felt we would rather not bother him in general. The location isn’t at the centre of town, so if you’re looking for something that is central, this isn’t for you. We were very happy to take longer walks and come back to a spacious but cosy and quiet place, so this wasn’t a problem for us. Simple complimentary breakfast of bread and coffee & cereal, and you can cook your own food in your room/apartment.

The staff speaks fluent English. The hotel has all facilities you need. Massage chair is a credit. We enjoyed cooking every night. The environment is clean & tidy. A little bit far from JR station around 10~12 min walk.

I enjoyed my stay at Inova very much. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. They have a coffee bar by the reception which was great. I stayed on the first floor and it was very convenient. It is also a quick walk to the Kanazawa station.

awesome hotel!

We had an enjoyable stay at INOVA Kanazawaekimae Hotel suite. All staff were very attentive and friendly, they provided us with information about the neighborhood, and helped us with coffee. The room was very clean and spacious, there were free board games for rental as well! Overall, we loved this hotel very much and would definitely recommend it to our friends or stay here again next time when we are in Kanazawa!

Best hotel we have ever stayed in Japan, very clean and spacious room with plenty of amenities (even comes with free Netflix!). Staff are super polite and friendly. Takes about 10 minutes walk from JR station but very convenient for self-driving customers since it has its own parking lot as well as an open car park just outside (very cheap overnight parking fee). A big supermarket is just minutes away by waliking providing any daily necessities you need. It is definitely one of the best places to stay if you are going to visit this charming city and Shiragawago! Recommend without hestitation at all.

I wish every hotel I stayed at was like this one.

We stayed 2 nights (me, wife, 8 month old baby). Our room was extremely spacious, clean and well-equipped. Price was quite reasonable. Every staff member was super friendly, which was refreshing to see. Usually, Japanese hotel staff are extremely polite to the point that they seem a little robotic and artificial. That was not the case at INOVA--the staff were polite, of course, but also approachable and really fun to talk to (assuming you speak Japanese--you might have a tougher time in English). It was like chatting with a friend. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Kanazawa station (quite an easy walk since you pretty much just walk in a straight line), but the staff can also pick you up and drop you off at the station if you ask them to. The only gripe I have is that there was no clock on the wall or digital clock with a light to make it easier to see in the dark. After we put our baby to bed in the evening, we kept the room pretty dark so it was difficult to see the dim digital clock display. But that's a small complaint for an otherwise remarkably comfortable stay. Thanks INOVA for a wonderful hotel stay!

This was by far the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in, in Japan for the price. Space was very big. The free simple breakfast, coffee and drinks was better than I could ask for. But the best was the kindness and willingness to help from the hotel staff. We were ferried to the station on numerous occasions. And the staff was always ready to help with your tour itinerary. Bath was large, washer was good and the drying function of the bath area was better than a clothes dryer.

great staff and very well equipped room.

The room is very spacious and staff super kind, help us to book restaurant nearby and offer to drive us to nearby location free. Great room with service apartment facilities. Also offer free bread and drinks with soup for breakfast which works well for me with kids. Definitely will stay there again if we visit. They also offer Netflix TV free of charge which is a plus on entertainment.

Fabulous staff

The staff were the best. They assisted us for everything with a smile. They gave us guidance for transport and road during the typhoon. The room was great with fabulous features. We were able to do our washing, make a simple meal and watch a movie in English on Netflix when it was pouring one night. The hotel is just next to the railway but they had double sliding doors for noise. It did not affect us.

Large room, well equipped, very helpful staff willing to make bookings at local restaurants. Adjacent to train line, so quite a bit of train noise though double glazing helped significantly. About ten minutes walk from station.

Outstanding Staff and Hotel

This relatively new hotel is well located 600m from train station: the staff will drive you to the station, on request. There are three beds, washer, kitchenette, clothes washer, complimentary cellphone. A sliding wall can be used to create a bedroom for the double bed that is separate from the from the two single beds. It is spacious compared to most Japanese hotel rooms; the toilet is separate from the bathroom. The room is spotlessly clean. Continental breakfast is included. As good as is the hotel, by far the most outstanding feature is the service provided by the wonderful staff. They are very friendly and helpful. My son had the misfortune of losing his JR Pass. Kana made several telephone calls to try to track it down, unfortunately she was unsuccessful. In addition to the outstanding service provided by Kana, I also commend Misaki, Yusuke, Takumi and Wataya. Because of these fantastic people, I am sure that during a future visit to Japan, I would actually go out of my way to re-visit Kanazawa and stay at the Inova.
