LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! Perfect DOWNTOWN getaway! Perfect for a Business trip (convention center w/in walking distance), traveling nurses, Family Vacay, romantic getaway, or a Couples (x 3) weekend. This Westside North Bungalow is totally restored and updated! Two of the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the main floor. Master suite (main level) has a 60" walk-in shower en-suite. Second bedroom (main level), has a tub/shower en-suite. Third/4th bedrooms, bathroom, are on the second floor and has a free-standing soaking tub en-suite. The Loft bedrooms are open to each other. This 4BR/3BA is close enough to walk to: see pics for time and distance to... the KC Convention Center, Crown Center, the Kauffman performing arts center, Union Station, the Liberty Memorial, and even the KC streetcar. You can even ride the KC Streetcar for free to the River Market. More importantly, you can walk to dozens of great restaurants on the Westside like the Westsider Local, Chez Elle Creperie and Coffeehouse, and the Blue Bird Bistro (4 blocks away), the Crossroads Art District (and host to First Fridays Arts festivals) is home to some of KC's best restaurants such as Jack Stack BBQ, Lidia's Italian Bistro, Manny's Mexican, and Grunauer (German). SW Boulevard (2 blocks away) is also home to many authentic Mexican restaurants, all within walking distance. Came for the Dodgers/Royals game. Was searching a few hotels, but that would have broke the budget for a few in our party. This place was awesome and affordable. Very clean, great amenities, and close to a lot of great bars/restaurants. The best part is the people in Missouri were amazing!!

Fun Stay in Kansas City

The house is excellent. It easily accommodated our family and it allowed us to have a great time visiting our daughter in Kansas City. The location was very convenient for us, as we had easy access to downtown and the freeways to get around the area. The arrangement of the house was "sneakily" nice. The description was accurate, and it was in fact laid out better than we expected. All of the bedrooms were separated, so there was good privacy afforded in each room. The one minor negative was that the freeway was so close, that occasionally a truck would roll by. But overall, a great, clean and convenient place for our family trip. I also want to commend Mike, our contact for the place, as he was extremely responsive in helping us with a miscommunication with getting into the place. He responded quickly and resolved the mixup immediately. He was also very responsive whenever we contacted him in advance of our stay.

First Time in KC

My friends and I visited KC for a long weekend in late February. Mike was very flexible with our check-in and out timing. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The four of us were able to spend time together in the living room/kitchen or go off to our own space as needed. We just wish the weather was a little nicer to enjoy the front porch!

Everything Nice, Modern & Cozy I’m a Great Location

This property was very comfortable and cozy — great beds, updated everything inside in a lovely old house right in the middle of everything! It was so nice to be able to get anywhere quickly and back if we needed something from the house. Some amenities we rarely see in a VRBO (e.g., shampoo, conditioner, body wash). Thanks for all the nice touches.

Couples Getaway

Visit KC for Royals game and concert with two other couples. Location was great and the house is in a great location to visit downtown KC. Quick rides to West Bottoms, Plaza and the location is in the Crossroads area so it worked out perfect. Host was great and stayed in communication throughout the process. Great for a weekend getaway if you are visiting KC. House was set up great for couples plenty of space, kitchen, etc. we would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay! The location couldn’t be better - walkable to downtown & crossroads and within a short drive of everything to do! The place is well laid out and perfect to accommodate our group of 3 couples. Host communication was very good - we asked about shower amenities previously not being provided and the host ordered shampoo dispensers to the house for us to use! The lawn could use a trim to make parking in the back easier, but with the excessive rain lately that is understandable. Overall a great stay!
