Worst verbal listing ever

This place was dirty mold in the dishwasher. Refrigerator was disgusting. Blinds were broken. Smelled like four dogs have been down there for I don’t know how long the pictures in the listing look nothing like the property mirrors to dressers just sitting against the wall pieces and patch carpet altogether.This listing should be tucking off Verbo immediately this is not represent the company whatsoever. I’ve been booking with the company for over a year and I’ve never in my life experienced any listing like this ever in the host he act like he cared, but then refused pretty much to refund my money Verbo took care of it all though hopefully they kicked these people off the off of their site
The refrigerator was disgusting
Torn blinds not just in this one picture
There was mold in the dishwasher
The dresser are missing from the listing and mirror is just sitting

Not as advertised

Check in was easy. Asked for pic of 2nd bedroom before we booked. We originally said 2 people but then brought our daughter as well. 2nd bedroom was locked and host was "1.5" hrs away so unable to use. No sheets for futons. No kitchen towels or shower mat. Bathroom had no washcloths, soap, shampoo, or bidet as advertised. Very few kitchen dishes but did not need so that was OK. Fridge was dirty but workable. Oven very dirty but did not need so that was OK. Smell was awful, not sure what odor host was trying to cover up with candle. Walkway not the best but workable, had to walk across lawn to get to walkway. No WiFi password even after host said it was listed on the wall instructions. Host offered free stay next time during week but would never stay again!

Cozy little place with great location

Great place to stay! Basement apartment with own private entrance and close to everything. Host was absolutely wonderful, easy to get a hold of and always a quick response. Fenced in yard was great for our dog too!! Location is close to everything and convenient. Would definitely stay here and again and highly recommend!

Nice with a few exceptions

The owner was very nice and accommodating. It was a good price and we were happy that we could bring our two dogs. Although, we were not able to use the backyard like we wanted to for the dogs because the grass was very long and the fence doors were stuck open. Also, it was hard to be relaxed at times because we could hear children running and screaming above us most of the time. We also had to buy a candle because we couldn’t stand the smell. The place was pretty clean besides the refrigerator which was dirty, had used Ice cream in the freezer, and a used drink. Other than those few things we enjoyed our stay.

The carpet was wet in random areas of the apartment. It did not smell good at all. The walkway to get into the place was full of mud and water and I almost slipped walking through it. I wasn't going to write the review because I reached out to him personally but he never wrote back so I'm writing the review.

Value Stay! Dog Friendly!

It is only the basement, but don't let that discourage you. Very roomy, pictures don't show how much room there is very well. We had two adults and 4 children 9 and under and it worked great. Beds were firm and comfy. Neighborhood is lovely and very family friendly. We took our dog for a walk on check in night nice large sidewalks and smiles from everyone we met. The owner was fantastic and made check in and check out a breeze. Would definitely stay again if travels brought us back. Its not the ritz, but bang for buck best deal in KC for per owners!

Awesome stay

The property owner was very nice and was available anytime we needed him. The living area was much bigger than the pictures showed. Everything was clean. Will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

We didn’t stay

It isn’t the entire property. It is only the basement. You have to go through tall grass to get there. It has a strange smell. The carpet is coming up on the edges. The beds and futons aren’t made up like the ones in the pictures. We didn’t stay because it wasn’t what we wanted. He did give us a full refund though, so that was nice.

Good value for money

The property is an excellent value for the money. If you are looking for a Hilton 5 star look elsewhere, but be prepared to pay through the nose. The place was very clean, the appliances work, had good carpet, and was a separate floor, very private. The residential neighborhood is great, the location excellent--easily accessed from major highways and about five minutes from any kind of restaurant or retail store you could want. We stayed during corono-virus shut-down, but when things are open 15-20 minutes from sports stadiums and downtown shows, arenas, concerts, etc. Omer, the owner, was very helpful from beginning to end, making us feel very welcome and cared for--a delight to work with. He alone makes the property worth recommending.

Our stay was great and convenient for our long weekend. They were pet friendly, only concern was a fence panel that had blown over in the yard for the dogs, otherwise was great.
