2 night stay. King suite. We arrived 3 hours prior to check in, and we were able to get into our room as soon as we arrived. Very friendly front desk staff. Spacious and clean room. Comfortable bed & pillows. The shower is looking a bit worn, but functioned well with good water pressure. Hotel is in a quiet area with not much in the immediate area. Breakfast was good, basic LaQuinta fare with a few hot and cold options. Nice fitness center with 3 treadmills, a couple bikes, free weights, and a cable machine (with a missing weight pin which limited your choice of workout). Our issue with our stay (which was not the fault of the hotel at all) was the inconsiderate guests both nights. Each side of our room: One guy talking so loud we could here every word he was saying in his conversation. The other side of us had blaring music and very loud talking at 2am. A call down to the front desk took care of that (tho they did continue playing music, but turned down at least). Fitness center had several kids (3-10 yr olds) running around inside and just making a mess of it all. Other than obnoxiously rude guests, the stay was just fine....and we would stay there again. Very good value for the price paid.

The hotel itself was fine but the area it’s located in is not. Someone broke into my car and I had to get a new window placed before leaving Kansas City. The hotel manager and maintenance guy were kind enough to clean glass out of my car, clean my back seat of rain, and also covered my door to keep rain out.
