This is a very nice hotel. J.J. checked us in and treated us like family. The only place to eat nearby is in their own restaurant, which is strictly fine dining, or bar food from their bar, which is a little greasy. We were charged $100 for the pet package for two dogs under ten pounds and nothing in that package was brought to the room. When I asked what the take-home gift was (as advertised on their website), I was offered two HUGE hard dog biscuits, so I declined them. The pet fee should have been half what it was, but the hotel was otherwise excellent.

Compact but clean

The Origin is new and tidy and very well run. But the rooms are European-style small - with built-in benches instead of chairs (my six-foot-two inch husband was not thrilled) and tiny open closet spaces.

Great Hotel

Hotel was clean and employees were friendly. It’s a new hotel in a convenient area. Waitstaff in the bar/restaurant were also very friendly. Curtis gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants and things to do around the city.

Great boutique hotel, very clean and rooms are spacious. Customer Service is exceptional, from restaurant bartenders, manager to the front desk. Quinten was very friendly and welcoming. Food and drinks were tasty. I can’t say enough great things about this place. We’ll definitely will be back.

Hotel is very clean and the front desk attendants were super friendly. Room was very cozy and perfect for my son and I. Loved the design and layout! Will definitely stay again the next time I’m in Kansas City!

Great property

Staff was amazing. Property is trendy and the rooms were spotless. It made getting my heart getting broken, watching the bills lose more enjoyable. The area itself is going to be amazing once the construction is fully finished. The property is not under construction, but the immediate area is. Great location!
