Perfect south Kansas City location

This beautiful four bedroom three full bathroom house has two living areas in a quiet neighborhood only five minutes from highway access. Town Center plaza has great shopping and so many restaurant choices and is only ten minutes away. Minor Park golf course is almost walking distance. The backyard is a wonderful place to step out and have your morning coffee or sit around the fire pit in the evening. There are only two short steps getting into the house. For those that have a hard time with stairs, there are two bedrooms on the main level. The master has a king bed with its own private bathroom. The other bedroom has a Queen bed. There are two other bedrooms upstairs with a king and Queen bed and a shared bathroom. If you take the pillows off the back of the couch in the front room, it makes into a single bed. There are sheets for it if necessary.

Perfect for a wedding weekend

We met with family from another state to attend a wedding in Kansas City. This property was perfect for all of us. My grandmother has trouble with stairs, so two master bedrooms on the main were much appreciated! The decor is super cute. Lots of backyard space for relaxing. Only recommendation I have is to add checkout instructions to the listing. We proceeded with the usual VRBO checkouts we’ve previously used. Otherwise a 5-star rating!!

The house was great for this family event that we traveled for. Overall, it worked out extremely well. Location is great. Neighborhood was great. House space was great. Tracy responded to all inquiries very quickly. Three things that could have been a little better. 1. The fruit flies inside were terrible. We actually set up a few traps. They were everywhere
not just the kitchen. 2. None of the patio furniture had been wiped down. I drank coffee outside each morning there were many seating areas but nothing had been cleaned. 3. Didn’t have anyplace to put big bags of trash. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

We rented this home for 8 of us (adults and children) to celebrate a 70th birthday/girls weekend. The home was very clean & well maintained with lots of room for everyone. Communication with the owner was great all weekend. The neighborhood was very nice & safe! We will definitely be returning!

This is a great location and a great property. The kitchen was very well-stocked and beds were very comfortable. Instructions as to how to access the property were sent in a timely manner and it was easy to understand and access. We would stay there again when we visit family in Kansas City!

Great backyard. Near to a running trail that was beautiful during fall. House has quirky decor. One bed was only comfy for one person as it rolled you into the center of it. The rest were comfy. Easy check in and out. Suited our needs quite well! Thank you.

Best rental ever!

Best rental ever! From the moment I arrived, to the sad moment when I had to say goodbye to Tracy‘s perfect little house, I had the most wonderful time! The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, the house is the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen, and Tracy, as my host, was the most accommodating person I have ever met! Everything, beginning to end, was truly perfect. Also, my bed was comfortable, the linens were clean and fluffy, and the kitchen has more dishes and cooking utensils than I have ever seen in a rental property. Quite literally, I could have baked a wedding cake, a Thanksgiving turkey, and every imaginable thing in between! My favorite part: Traci‘s backyard! Beautiful shady trees, a lovely deck, and outdoor furniture that was so inviting. I spent most of my time sitting outside, enjoying the beautiful fall weather. In summary, I will never stay anywhere but at Tracy’s house when I come to Kansas City. Her home is truly my home away from home. Thanks most sincerely, Traci, for providing me with such an incredibly wonderful experience! You are the best!

Could Use Some Work

The owner is very nice and tried hard to make everything right. The air conditioning when out the afternoon we arrived and she worked hard to have 3 window air conditioners put in. It was VERY hot the afternoon we arrived. Overall, the property needs some work. The yard is full of "stuff" and the house needs a lot as well. Loose wall plates, duct taped tile on the kitchen floor. My grandson didn't want to wash his hands in the sink because of the rust stains in the sink. The beds were very comfortable and the owner is very nice.

Fall days in KC

Very comfortable in a nice neighborhood. AC was broken but Tracy did what she could to get it fixed and we were fine as the nights were cool. Some things in house could use fixing (microwave with no handle), some loose tiles, etc. but overall we were pleased and the house had everything we needed with comfy beds and ample housewares and amenities.

Perfect home for family to gather

We were delighted with the home that our family gathered in this Labor Day weekend in Kansas City MO. Tracy and her mom stopped by as we arrived, and it was wonderful to meet both of them! They were friendly and welcoming! A request for more propane for the outdoor grill was quickly granted! The home was well kept, easily accommodated our family of 9, and the neighborhood was very pleasant with well established trees and lawns. We will stay in this home again, if our family is able to gather in Kansas City.

Comfortable and Convenient

Tracy's home was a comfortable place to stay while in town for a family reunion. There are 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 downstairs and 2 upstairs, with very comfortable beds. They could easily sleep 8 adults. The home has all the necessities you should need and then some. Towels, shampoo, coffee, all laundry supplies, etc. Although we thoroughly enjoyed the shabby chic decor, I wouldn't say this home is very child friendly. At least I wouldn't have trusted my kids to not accidentally break something. The neighborhood seemed very safe and quiet. Overall, this was another pleasant experience with VRBO.

This house is decorated beautifully inside and out. It’s filled with lots of interesting and tasteful objects to admire. Tracy the owner is close by and responds quickly. There are still a few things that need repair or replacing but nothing that dampened our stay. I’d be happy to stay there again.
