Villa Mercan is situated in Komurluk which is known locally as the most prestigious and exclusive area of Kalkan, with breath taking and uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean Sea and Turquoise Coastline.

Offering stunning sunsets; the harbour and lights of Kalkan also give a spectacular evening view from Villa Mercan and the extensive Ottoman cushioned seating area on the Roof Terrace.

Close to the historic old town and the abundance of restaurants, bars and shops to tempt all. The Beach Clubs are also close by, with Palm Beach Club just 100 metres away.

Pool and Jacuzzi can be heated at an extra charge. In low season they may be empty, please ask for details.

Amazing stay

Villa Mercan was set in a gorgeous part of Turkey Kalkan the views were incredible from every window in the villa. The villa was set over 3 floors with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The open plan living area was great overlooking the sea with the infinity pool in front. We all loved the villa., it was home from home for me I made use of the laundry facilities so I came home with minimal dirty clothes. Rudi was brilliant with any issues we had all sorted. Helen was a great host keeping in contact and sharing information with us. We hired a car at the airport so we drove ourselves to the villa it was 1.5 hour drive and straight forward following Helen’s directions in the handbook which she had sent before hand. It kept us fit as we decided to do the short walk to the harbour most days and evenings just part of the walk is down steps on the way there but up the steps on the way back which is fine as you can rest half way and take in the view 😊 definitely recommend.,

Fantastic

The photos of the villa on the site do not lie, the villa was massively impressive. The pool was lovely with ample room for all six of us to sunbathe in peace. The rooftop ottoman and jacuzzi were fabulous, a little slice of heaven on the roof. The villa has everything we needed, kitchen facilities great, good shower pressure and hot water, bedrooms were all a great size and the air con was great and needed. Overall we loved our stay, we have been to Kalkan before and we all love the place. It’s a ten-fifteen minute walk into town or taxi’s for 15tl which is around £2 and there are plenty. Kalkan is a lovely place with excellent resteraunts and a beautiful views. Would definately stay here again. Arranging the villa was very easy and Helen and Alan were very helpful as was Ibo who was only a call away whenever you needed him. Many thanks for letting us stay in your excellent villa.

Perfect Serenity

We had 13 nights in Villa Mercan and were joined by a nice mix of friends for the second week. The villa is the perfect spot for getting the absolute best from Kalkan. The heart of the town is just 10 minutes walk along a lovely coastal path or 3 minutes in a taxi, which costs a mere ÂŁ2. Kalkan has an abundant supply of really great authentic restaurants all within striking distance. The villa itself has pretty unrivaled views of Kalkan bay and is tucked into a hillside, affording a good deal of privacy and peace. The organisation and logistics were seamless with Helen taking care of all arrangements for us. The villa is clean and tidy with ample space for relaxing. It would suit a large family as much as a collective of couples. The facilities there are superb with everything you could possibly need provided. The pool area lends itself perfectly to just chilling in the afternoon sun with a beer or cocktail and cooling down with regular dips in the cute infinity pool, which is in immaculate condition and is cleaned daily. When it gets too hot during the day, there is a nice sheltered canopy on the roof terrace above some low bench seating, and a roof top jacuzzi. We tended to eat a large breakfast at the villa, possibly have a light lunch or snack, then dine out every evening on one of Kalkan's many brilliant and very good value restaurants. Everyone in town seems to know Villa Mercan and the local agent knows everyone in town so you will never be short of a safety net or an essential contact to get something organised. We took a boat trip from the harbour on our own bespoke itinerary and explored a fabulous picturesque cave. Kalkan is a lovely spot, very affordable and with friendly, welcoming people. It is clear to us that Villa Mercan is one of the prime accommodation choices. A stunning location.

Rock star villa, amazing

Villa Mercan in Kalkan is as fabulous as it looks on the pictures. Loved using the roof top Jacuzzi in the morning and last thing at night sipping some fizz. The beds are comfy and the walk-in showers are spacious and unlike some villas the water pressure is good and the temperature great if you need a hot shower. The location is great as well. There are a few steps to negotiate in the villa as it is on four levels, however this is a great way to burn off those extra calories accumulated from the amazing restaurants in Kalkan. The Palm Beach club is just at the bottom of the steps to access the villa from the bottom road and you can swim in the sea here, get a boat taxi or eat in their restaurant. Also from here you can walk into town and it takes about 15 minutes. As this is such a great location there are a few more villas surrounding the plot, but this is typical in Kormuluk and is to be expected because it has the best views in Kalkan. I can highly recommend this villa and Helen (the owner) who looked after the booking and arranged our pick ups from the airport. She is very helpful and she has an on site agent Ibo to take care of any issues. Than you Helen and Alan for our perfect 10 days!
