A lovely stay at the Damson Dene Hotel

We had a great 6 day stay at the Damson Dene. All the staff are super friendly. Had a couple of SPA treatments with Sharon, they were amazing and so reasonable priced. The food in the hotel was superb. The breakfast was plentiful and the evening meals were delicious. The only issue we had was with housekeeping. Over the six days we were there they only made up our room twice. Once we did put the "do not disturb" up as my husband wasn't feeling great. I had to request for them to go in on day 5 and then again they didn't go in on day 6. The hotel did apologise but it was very frustrating.

Poor experience for family stay

Poor consideration for family, given a room way farside corner, guests with dogs were neighbours, dogs kept barking and couldnt sleep well. Corridor carpet had dog poop not cleaned for hours. If not booked for breakfast/dinner the wait time is 1 hour. Staff not friendly. Pool & jacuzzi substandard.

Breakfast and Dinner excellent and we were well looked after. Spa facilities were good. Gym was OK, apart from the availability of cleaning materials for wiping down equipment after use.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Good good. Bed a little uncomfortable. Pool nice and quiet in the daytime. Duvet very lumpy and no filling in areas so got a little cold in the night. Cracks in the bathroom basin.
