It provides excellent accommodation which is both spacious and comfortable, an exceptional base for you to enjoy your holiday. Situated 2 minutes level walk into Keswick Town Centre with the convenience of all the town’s amenities. The cottage is directly opposite Fitz Park and the River Greta and offers fabulous views over the river and surrounding fells. There are many walking and leisure opportunities from the doorstep which means you need not use your car. There is private parking available for one car

A great location literally a few steps from the town.

A great location literally a few steps from the town. Everything was lovely and clean. A couple of things need upgrading, the bed linen, pillows and duvets were very tired and need replacing as do cushions in the living room. Some items needed in the kitchen such as scissors and chipped crockery needs replacing. Overall a pleasant stay with a few extra touches required to make it really comfortable.

Shorley lodge is very well located within close proximity of Keswick town.

Shorley lodge is very well located within close proximity of Keswick town. It is opposite the beautiful Fitz Park. Great walks along the River Greta. The house itself is very comfortable and very well equipped almost home from home. The one thing that is missing is a downstairs Cloakroom. One toilet/bathroom for up to 6 people is not really enough. You only have one car parking space that comes with the house. This is behind the property, about 100yrds away. So any packing and unpacking of the car has to be done via 5/6 steap concrete steps, and in through the kitchen. We really liked Shorley Lodge and would definitely go back.
