The Space:
The living areas in this single-storey lodge consist of a studio-style layout with double bed, kitchenette equipped with microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle and toaster and a sitting area with a TV. There is also a shower room. Outside there is an enclosed front decking with furniture, along with off-road parking for one car. Within 0.8 miles, you will find a shop, within 0.7 miles, a pub and a river, please note that two well-behaved pets are welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Pod No 6 is a fabulous base from which to uncover the treasures of the Lake District. Note: The property is next to a river, please ensure children and pets are supervised. Note: There are steps to the exterior; please take care. Fishing is available onsite. Wild water swimming is available onsite. Please note: Maximum occupancy for this property is 2 guests (not suitable for infants).
The Neighborhood:
The tourist hub of the northern Lake District is the well-known town of Keswick, which has a lot to offer travellers at any time of year. The town offers a wide variety of stores and eateries to suit every taste, as well as miniature golf, wonderful parks, the renowned Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing, and fantastic mountain biking opportunities. Derwentwater, a beautiful lake at the head of the breathtaking Borrowdale Valley, is only a short stroll from the town centre. The stunning Newlands Valley is nearby, situated between Braithwaite and Buttermere, and the charming Bassenthwaite Lake is definitely worth a visit. Everything from a leisurely stroll through the countryside to a strenuous walk up Skiddaw or the renowned Catbells is available. Visit the Jennings Brewery, Mirehouse, a magnificent home and gardens on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake, or go on a wonderful boat tour of Derwentwater.
