What's nearby:
Warm Springs Day Lodge and lifts are a short walk away (100 foot) where you can take advantage of the world-class ski runs of Bald Mountain! You can get a coffee at the Konditorei before hitting the slopes. And at the end of your day, you can kick back and warm up at the bar with a hot Buttered Bourbon or the famous 'Shot Ski'. Ketchum is a mere two and a half miles away, offering great nightlife, shopping, and dining. For a little more adventure, you can go a bit further to Sun Valley (three and a half miles), where you can go horseback riding or ice skating. Or take in some music at the Sun Valley Pavillion.

I stayed in this condo for almost 4 weeks this Summer. The "pros" to staying here were (1) lots of space and each bedroom had its own bathroom, (2) nice location at the bottom of the mountain, (3) I could tell they had completely re-done the deck (although there was no furniture on the deck and no privacy) and (3) always nice to have a full kitchen rather than staying in a hotel! Unfortunately, like some of the other reviews on here, there were some "cons" such as (1) construction going on on the condo next door for almost the entire time I was staying here (at one point the workers were even banging on my wall from the outside of the building-- not exactly relaxing and peaceful, (2) some minor issues with things being broken-- blinds in the 1st floor bedroom could not be opened and closed, blinds in the living room didn't open and close properly either and screen door out onto the deck wasn't attached to the frame properly and couldn't really be opened/closed (I reported all of these issues on my first day in the condo, but they never got fixed) (3) some oddly placed high windows in some of the bedrooms and bathrooms did not allow for much privacy and let in too much sunlight in the mornings, (4) I stayed here in the Summer and it become quite warm in the living room and upper bedroom during the day-- luckily we'd brought fans, but there were no fans available for guests to use in the condo- so maybe bring your own if you can, (5) stains on carpet.

Awesome Location!

Awesome location, comfortable, spacious, and clean. The location is great for skiing - it’s hard to get much closer than this to ski Sun Valley. The finishes are definitely dated), but honestly I am happy there are still properties like this that are more accessible to more people. I knocked it one star because of one fixable complaint: single-ply toilet paper. There is no excuse for single-ply toilet paper unless it’s in some nasty public park bathroom.

Comfortable and spacious

We enjoyed our stay, nice condo with plenty of room for 5 of us. Kitchen had lots of condiments, plastic wrap and tin foil which always comes in handy. I liked the natural light from all the windows. Beds were firm but very comfy. It was very clean and I would stay there again.

Great place

This was one of 2 units rented for a group of 30-40 year olds. We enjoyed this property. The price, sleeping arrangements, and location were all great. Many reviews point out this unit could use some love - and it could, but that wasn’t an issue for us at all. Beds were comfy, water in the showers was hot and the location is great to access the mountain and all communications were simple and sufficient. Thanks!

Lovely for a Ski Trip

This place was an 3 minute walk from the lift. The walls were thick and had a deliciously comfy couch. It had a shared fenced in backyard for our pup. Theres also a great offleash dog park a five minute drive away. The fireplace was nice after a day on the slopes.

Can't beat the walk to the ski lift. This is our 2nd vaca here - rented next door last year. We have a large dog so options are limited and this was perfect with our dog and 5 adults. We had a few issues with being sent the wrong entry code to get in at first - but got it figured out.

Horrible: Avoid this property

Listing says newly updated. They might be referring to one bathroom. Very misleading. Carpet is original from when it was built. Carpet is stained. Unit was dirty, really dirty. It needed to be vacuumed. There were dead bugs in the bathrooms. Lots of dust on the windows sills. There’s no AC in the unit. I was told to open the windows and shut the blinds during the day. The blinds on the south side are broken, seriously only half of the vertical blinds was there. Only half the windows would open. We were told not to go on the deck as the HOA deemed it “unsafe.” And it did look unsafe. There’s plastic/tarps on the roof. Neighboring unit can look directly into the downstairs bathroom, no window coverings for privacy. Door locks are sketchy. You can’t actually tell if you lock the doors without testing them from the outside. Wrong keys were provided and it took almost a day to get the correct keys.

You can't beat the location as it's less than a 5-minute walk to the lodge and lifts. There's plenty of room but the property is super-dated with upgrades needed. The deck was damaged (and off-limits), the front porch/steps were damaged, and the front door was essentially a closet door. The kitchen was fine and the beds were comfy. We used the fireplace every night...although the screen on that was broken, too. We'd likely choose another place to stay even if that means more money.

Garage was blocked by painters ladders. View windows covered by paper. Deck condemned and unusable. Blinds broken and unusable. TV’s not programmed to work. The unit has great potential and a fabulous location.

Great location, but mainteance needed.

This listing needs an update that says the deck is not usable, something we were notified of before arriving, but seems to have been the case for some time. In the unit, we found a sign saying so with a photo of a fallen tree on a deck, however the photo was of a different deck. I agree with the other reviewer about needed maintenance to be done. Windows had issues. Some would not open and some screens broken. Blinds were missing slats. Carpet was stained. Pots and pans not clean. The lack of blinds or disturbed glass allow close neighbors to observe your bathroom routine. The area is really fantastic. We enjoyed hiking, hot springs and more.
