What can I say that has not already been said? Lisa and Michael are amazing hosts. The natural hot springs-fed hot tubs were a joy. We spent one evening in one enjoying the full moon (at Lisa's suggestion). The property is well-maintained and beautiful in July. We ate dinners on the bridge and watched the fish and ducks swim by. The refrigerator was fully stocked, more than we needed. It was so tranquil we did not turn on the TV the entire time we were there. We will be coming back again and again (for as many times and Lisa and Michael let us back).
This Bavarian style log cabin up the Warm Springs Creek outside of Ketchum Idaho is a place of dreams. Indoor and outdoor fireplaces, sconce lighting and candles lovely antiques, antique Wedgwood stove, flowers everywhere. Warm Springs creek burbles outside and provides hot mineral water for three hot tubs. This isnât just a spot, itâs an experience of pure Idaho paradise right outside Ketchum. Hosts amazing of course!
Just a great place to unwind and explore Ketchum and Sawtooth area.Stream in front offers nice small rod fly fishing. House and location are great. So many options for natural springs hot tubs. Nice drive into forest for the house and not too far from town for dinner. Dont miss picnicking on Dollar Hide Summit. Hosts are awesome.
Quaint, Quiet, River-Front, Fantastic Sauna & Hot Springs
Beautiful cabin right on the river. Hot springs and sauna were wonderful! Water pressure in the shower was light but everything else was great! Loved the layout and decor in the cabin and the grounds were beautiful as well.
A charming stay with lots of character and old-world touches. Beautiful inside and out. Loved the hot-spring tubs and sauna. A great rental and Lisa is a great host! Definitely planning to return!
This was our second time here but hopefully not our last- we love this place- so peaceful after a day of skiing- the warmth and comfort of the cabin, filled with antiques and art (stocked with all kinds of delicious treats) create a welcoming, memorable retreat --and we were in the natural hot spring tubs (listening to the sounds of the river and forest) morning and night! Thank you.
This is our second stay and it was as magical as the first time! Wonderful amenities, with nature calling just outside our cabin doors. We so enjoyed our week in paradise!
We loved the secluded house and it's old-world charm. The hot tubs and sauna are a huge bonus.A couple of corrections or additions to the listing:- The upstairs bed is a double, not a queen. But very comfortable with heating pads.- The owners live in a house on the same property. They are great to work with and very hospitable.- January is very cold, naturally. The fireplace and space heaters couldn't keep up, so we had to run the gas oven to help heat the house. We will definitely come again!
This stay was better than we could've imagined. The photos on the listing do not do it justice. Think quaint little French cottage in the woods-inside the national forest. You have to cross a covered wooden bridge to access the property, and there are tubs near the creek that have hot water pumped directly into them from Frenchman Hot Springs. The owners are very welcoming and give you as much space as you need but check in to see if you need anything. We will definitely try to stay here again when we're in the area or as a special trip. I can't say enough about it. It was the perfect place to quiet my mind and reconnect with nature.
This is our fourth stay. Lisa is a wonderful host and her property is our favorite. Thank you for the addition of the new tub! We cant wait to return again!
This is a very charming log cabin hidden from the road and decorated with old world charm. It is perfect for 2. For a week we had our own covered bridge over a gurgling creek for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening, two natural hot tubs, trails nearby to hike, and trout nearby to catch and release on a fly. We enjoyed delicious meals in Ketchum/Sun Valley as well as picnics on the beautiful property.Lisa and Michael, property owners, were terrific. We canât wait to return.
Amazing location! So beautiful and relaxing⊠we didnât want to leave! It is about 20 minutes outside of Ketchum in the sawtooth national forest right on Warm Springs creek rd near Frenchmanâs Hot Springs. It was further out than we realized, so it was a bit challenging to find the first time, but worth the drive. Lisa was super nice and it was fun to hear about the history of the place when we arrived. Spring fed hot tub right next to the river was the best! Perfect romantic getaway!
This remote and private property was a beautiful location to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the private hot springs-fed tub and relaxing by the river. The home was well stocked, the owners were helpful and kind, and the decor lent to the charm of a European cottage.
Everything about the property was storybook beautiful. We walked four to five miles every morning along the river. Our hosts were wonderful and made certain we had everything we needed to make our visit comfortable. I would definitely return - exceptional!!
What an amazing stay! Located outside Ketchum this little paradise is perfect for a return to nature. Such a unique and lovely stay with so many kind touches from Lisa. With hot springs and beautiful outdoor areas, this is the perfect place. Would stay again and again!
Great place. Can say enough about hosts and this house. Yes there are trout in the creek running right in front. Hosts go above and beyond. Hot water spring tub. Sauna. Views. Weâll be back.
I recently stayed at a charming cottage that was nothing short of perfect and magical. The owners truly paid attention to every detail, making my birthday celebration unforgettable. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated, cozy, and equipped with all the amenities one could wish for. The serene surroundings, coupled with the owners' warm hospitality, created an enchanting atmosphere. This cottage is a hidden gem that I highly recommend for anyone looking to experience a perfect getaway.
This property is absolutely magical! We were blown away with how charming and unique everything was, and the hot springs fed hot tubs were to die for! Somehow we missed the fact that there was a separate sauna cabin so that was a nice surprise too! This place is absolutely not kid or pet friendly so do not even think about it - beautiful antiques everywhere. Very well stocked - the owners have thought of everything! We especially loved the wood burning fireplaces after a long day of skiing. Can't wait to go back! Do not hesitate to rent this spot if you don't mind driving a bit from town for some peace and quiet. Internet connection was great for wifi and calling.
A Magical Winter Retreat with Enchanting Hot Tubs!
This way truly a snowy paradise! From the charming cabin surrounded by mountains to the cozy interior, our stay felt like a winter fairy tale.
The hosts were fantastic! They were kind enough to meet us with their very adorable dogs and walk us through the property and told the history which was so amazing. Although they were on the property, we didn't see them after the first meet. It was very private.
Kitchen had everything you would need. They also thought of everything- providing a fully stocked fridge, plenty of wood for the fireplace, and robes for the hot tubs/natural hot springs. The two hot tubs/natural springs with panoramic winter views was perfect after a long day on the slopes.
It is also close (within walking distance) to a public natural hot springs (Frenchmans I think is what it was called) which was another plus.
There were a ton of areas to go snowshoe and I am sure the summer hiking and biking around there is just as wonderful.
It was a bit out of the main town and we had a little bit of a hard time finding it (google maps does not take you to the correct place on the same road so just follow the hosts instructions). But it is really just a short drive and well worth it. The views are just incredible and the roads are paved so we did not have any problems during the very snowy days.
The cabin's was also so uniquely decorated. We really loved it.
This magical retreat left us with unforgettable memories. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to return!
My husband and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary and couldnât have chosen a better place to spend a week! Hosts Lisa and Michael are so helpful and the house had lots of thoughtful items available when we arrived. There are natural hot spring hot tubs and a sauna, so plenty of places to relax and enjoy the beautiful river that runs along
The edge of the property. We canât wait to come back!
