Light, bright and cheery! Spend your vacation is this cute and newly updated half duplex in the heart of Key Colony Beach! This half duplex is brand new to the rental market! 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom half duplex on 9th Street in Key Colony Beach with 37 ft of deep dockage and Cabana Club. The kitchen is beautifully done with a great eat-in island with 4 stools, nicely equipped and all stainless steel appliances. The Master Suite offers an en suite bathroom with shower and large closet and 2 double beds! The guest bedroom offers 2 double beds. The living area has sliders that open up to the canal side patio and a Large flat screen TV. This unit also offers WIFI.
Great deep-water dockage, with east facing backyard and dock. Enjoy the afternoon shade from the hot Florida Keys sun! Bait Freezer and Cabana Club. Short walk to Sunset Park, Cabana Club, tennis courts, playground, restaurants!

Great Location Beware of Cleaners and Property Contact

I have a SOLID reputation on VRBO.That's a fact I'm not some complainer I have pix and emails to back this review so good luck property manager trying to refute. Upon arrival at around Midnight on our first day we do the usual walk thru got delayed from weather, but we always walk thru. The first thing I see is the giant hole in the patio slide-out screen. You could have a Pizza delivered through it. I stopped, took a picture, and opened my email and sent it to Jessica the rental agent of record IMMEDIATELY. After midnight local time on what is now Sunday the 14th. I now have a digital paper trail started which will later be one of those deals where they go "golly, I never got the message". I got pictures. We went to bed and my Wife got up to get the coffee pot going. can't find a way to download the pictures here but I sent them right away to Jessica. The mold in the coffee filter with the old coffee would scare you or maybe kill you. This was maybe 8 hours after I contacted Jessica via email on the screen. Jessica got back to me on the screen but radio silence on the coffee maker. I got pictures on the filter if anyone wants those. The place is very nice by the way, they just have MASSIVE issues involving cleaning and property management. I also have a picture of the giant disgusting hunk of hair my wife dug out of the clogged main shower drain. Jessica finally called me on my 6th day there because of the fridge problem have more to add but vrbo only allows 1500 letters.

Great retreat

This Key Colony rental was the perfect place to come back to after a day at the beach, on the water, enjoying the middle keys. It was clean and every detail was thought of. The property manager was great with communication and the check- in process was smooth and easy.

Sufficient

The indoors was as represented in the photos. The outdoors was disappointing. Due to its being a duplex, there is no separation between the outdoor space and the neighbors' outdoor space. It was also recently paved over, so the outdoor photos aren't updated or accurate. Nor do they show how small and shared that space is. We never were outside much because there was no shade at all and the neighbors were always out in the evenings so there was no privacy. An umbrella and some type of barrier between the two places would have made a big difference. It was fine, but we would look for something different in Key Colony if we went back.

Ok accommodations

Property was clean & convenient to lots of attractions. House was also well stocked & equipped with what we needed for the week. Beds could definitely use an upgrade, 2 adults & 2 teens & all of us had aches from poor mattresses. You sink to the middle in bed. Also, not good dock space if you’re bringing a boat. Poor communication checking in but if you’re familiar with VRBO you should be ok. Overall I liked the house & location.

Four guys fishing for the week,. We found it to suit our needs perfectly Kitchen was well equipped TV was a little hard to figure out Perhaps a cheat sheet to help sort things out would help Ps there were fish in the canal out back so we found need for the cleaning table as well!

Relaxing Time

Very nice quiet location. The membership to Cabana Club was a great place to hang out during the day. Just had problems with living room cable tv service shutting off and on but other than that a very nice relaxing vacation spot.

Clean rental located in a convenient and safe location. I totally enjoyed the walking/running/bike trail for my morning runs. I also enjoyed having access to the Cabana Club. Will definitely stay again!

Guys fishing week

House was nice and clean. Bait freezer was broke but when I called they replaced it with a new freezer the next day! Only thing I can say negative and this is being super picky was the grass looked like it hadn't been cut in a week or two. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Very pleasant time

It was very nicely located to the things we wanted to do and was a nice escape to come back for a nap.🙂 The thin mattresses were a bit of a disappointment as were the abundance of twin beds. There were no washcloths. We went out and bought our own. Those are minor compared to cleanliness and the safety of the neighborhood. I'd stay there again, but the Keys are a bit of blah with some scenery truly as expensive as staying out of the country. But thanks for providing this opportunity for us . We appreciate it.

Would absolutely go back!

This property was perfect for our spring break vacation and we cannot wait to go back! Exactly as pictured and very clean. Had plenty of trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap etc. The little community is very friendly and safe. Access to the pool and beach were definitely an added bonus. We took a fishing trip on Best Bet Fishing Charters with our boys (ages 6 and 8) and had a blast! It's close to restaurants, you can get kayakes delivered right to your door, and fish right off the boat slip in your back yard. I already miss drinking my coffee by the water in the mornings and my wine out there at night while my boys fished and interacted with the manitee. Thanks so much for a great vacation!!

What you see is what you get.

The unit is exactly as pictured. Everything inside like new condition. The cleaning service did a great job. We would come back here in a heartbeat. We did gave problem with the tv in the main room. The other two TVs were working. We arrived late on a Saturday. The real estate office was closed. We left a message. Our message was returned by the booking agent, Jessica. She explained no tv repairmen were available at that late hour on a Saturday . Jessica said she resided a few blocks away and would stop by to give it a try. Sure enough Jessica did a lot of trial and error and was able to get the tv working. Thank you Jessica. Thought it was worth mentioning. Bill & Maureen

Honeymoon

My husband and I picked this location last minute due to Covid canceling our original trip! We had never been to the keys before so gave it a try. We anticipated more things to do, and more late night options but the island was beautiful. The condo was a great location and even better for those with boats!
