The location is ideal. The staff were nice. The place, although modest, was more than adequate for the relative price. Depends on what you want - but if you want a convenient, safe, cute, place with relative decent pricing you will be happy here.

Listen, I realize this structure is very old and has been expanded, but the room that we stayed in was not clean. The bathroom floor was sticky. Part of the woodwork around the tub have been poorly caulked, and some wood have rotted. There was a roach in our bed, the bed sheet had not been changed when we arrived, and there was a hair in the bed and on the sheet. Breakfast was not much better than you would get at any low cost motel. The environment was very pretty and inviting and it was great that there were no kids in the facility. We did talk to one of the owners and she was delightful, but was not on the premises on an ongoing basis. Sadly, one of my wife’s blouses apparently was taken by the cleaning staff because it miraculously disappeared after we had breakfast and left for sightseeing. Unfortunately, I will not stay in this facility on my return

The good the not so great. Trent front office is Gem and a half so freaking helpful . This hotel is lucky to have him. The water just could and wouldn’t stay hot they sent a guy twice which was kind but I have horrible sinuses and all I needed off the plane and for a week was a hot shower,,,, it just wasn’t in the works I think the spot is too far from heater …building #2 The mattress was horrible and I heard they were replacing it after our stay …that’s a bummer we had to deal with it..we couldn’t sleep and could feel coils, the breakfast is fine nothing special but for the keys I felt happy to have anything. The pool is freezing. But the area is clean: all and all the spacious room was nice and the location was great..but the Eden house is our usual and we will have to stay there still. As this one just wasn’t a good fit …the staff and the quietness were perfect at heron house

Arrived from the Key West Express. Convenient, walkable to bars, restaurants, places to go see. Rooms were clean, guests were friendly. We arrived before check in and stored our bags to go explore. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure on 2nd floor was ok, not great but able to shower with warm water. No complaints at all.

Very quiet cute place to stay. Air was cold and bed was comfy. We were there only 2 days and second day we had to hot water. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was typical contential breakfast.
