STARFISH - SUNNY TOWNHOME in QUIET TRUMAN ANNEX TWO BLOCKS FROM DUVAL ST.

Note: In 2026, bookings will require a minimum stay of 28 nights.

2 EVENT SPECIAL: Starting on Friday, October 16, 2026, the first day of FANTASY FEST WEEK and ending on Friday, November 13, 2026 right after POWER BOAT RACE WEEK. A total of 28 nights. There is some wiggle room if you need to adjust the dates. I have these dates blocked, so message me for the rate if you are interested.


It's all about LOCATION! This charming, sunny, end unit townhome, located in quiet Truman Annex, is within walking distance to the best of Key West. Just two blocks to Duval St., a popular street for restaurants, entertainment and shopping. Grab your camera and walk only 2.5 blocks to Mallory Square and the nightly 'Sunset Celebration'. You are also close to the best beach in Key West at Fort Zachary State Park. The beach offers bathrooms, showers, a large concession area, chairs and umbrellas, snorkeling, shade trees, picnic tables, grills and a fort to explore. A great way to see the island is by bike and you can rent them one block away. Scooters and electric carts are also available.

The first floor of our townhome has a welcoming open floor plan with two sets of French doors leading out to a private deck with tropical landscaping and a grill. The newly renovated, fully equipped kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. You will love the Caribbean style plantation shutters throughout the home. The shared pool with lounge chairs is right outside the back gate.

The second floor offers two bedrooms with queen size beds and two, newly renovated full bathrooms. Each bedroom has vaulted ceilings, big closets and a set of French doors leading out to covered balconies. And, there is a convenient washer and dryer on this floor.

Enjoy additional amenities such as smart TV's in every room, free WIFI, ceiling fans throughout including the back deck. You have a reserved, covered parking space steps from the front door. We also have a stack of beach towels and beach bag for you to use. Make sure to check out the 'Starfish' Binder full of activity ideas, restaurant menus and helpful hints.

A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Key West! We recently spent an unforgettable week at a beautiful townhome in the Truman Annex, and we couldn't be more impressed. From the moment we arrived, Patty—the owner—went above and beyond to make sure our stay was seamless and enjoyable. Her warmth, attentiveness, and hospitality truly made us feel right at home. The townhome itself was immaculate and thoughtfully appointed. Every detail had been carefully considered to ensure guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked with everything you could possibly need, which made dining in a breeze. It’s clear that a lot of care went into creating a space that is both functional and welcoming. The accommodations were top-notch—clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. We were especially impressed with the extra touches, like umbrellas and ponchos thoughtfully provided for those unexpected rainy Key West afternoons. These little amenities made a big difference and are just one example of the many ways this property stands out. The Truman Annex location is unbeatable—peaceful and secure, yet just a short walk to all the excitement of Duval Street, the marina, and the island's top attractions. Another Perfect Vacation!

Perfect for our Key West couples getaway

The property is exactly as described, and perfect for 2 couples or friends. The location within Truman Annex is great too, right next to the pool, and easy access to Southard (while still being in a quiet location). From there, it is just a couple short blocks to Duval. Check in and check out instructions were clear, and the owner was very communicative and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again, and will recommend this place to friends and family

The owner of Starfish was super kind and helpful. You cannot beat this location--we walked to the beach, Mallory square, the harbor, great restaurants, fun bars, absolutely everywhere we wanted to go. The heated pool right by the patio was wonderful to.

Loved the way each room was decorated, very nice. Liked the location of the Truman Annex. We knew about one challenge: bedrooms upstairs and the only bathrooms upstairs. But we didn't know about the very tight spot to get in and out of the "garage" space, very difficult with a full size car.If we were to stay in Truman Annex again, we would want a unit with a downstairs lav.

Enjoyed Key West

We really enjoyed our first visit to Key West and essential to that was staying at our Starfish location. The home was very comfortable, had everything we needed and was in a great location to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Our host Patty was very welcoming and responsive to anything we needed, even having a replacement coffee maker dropped off the same day we mentioned having a problem! We definitely hope to return and enjoy another stay.

Perfect birthday celebration rental

Perfect location, perfect house, and perfect place for a 60th birthday celebration. Words cannot describe how much the owner has made this property a little piece of paradise. Our first time in Key West and we had a beyond fantastic week, even on my husband’s birthday that was on the day Hurricane Helene happened. My husband was surprised with a birthday gift on arrival. We definitely give this place and owners a 10 out of 10.

Wonderful Stay

Starfish is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The hosts are amazing with communicating check-in and check-out times/flexibility and providing great recommendations for the Key West area. The location is amazing - an easy walk to Duval Street and a comfortable walk to the state park where we enjoyed the beach and yoga on the beach. There are upgraded appliances and everything you need for an amazing stay (beach towels, beach bags, etc.). We truly loved our stay and hope to return.

Starfish is our favorite!

When we plan trips to Key West, we check on the availability of Starfish first. This unit is spotless, comfortable and well-appointed. The owner is extremely responsive and helpful. It's an end-unit (less noise than when you are sandwiched between two other units), and the pool is easy to see and access from the back door/patio. We love that it is so peaceful in Truman Annex but also so convenient to all the "action" of Key West. Everything is a quick walk or bike ride away. Excellent spot.

I have stayed in Key West numerous times over the past 20 years ~ hands down, this was the best. Perfect location within walking distance of tons of things, beautifully appointed, fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds ~ I could go on and on. You will definitely not be disappointed. Our April/May wonderful week at Starfish

We absolutely loved the Starfish townhome! It had everything that we could have ever wanted/needed for our stay: Fully equiped kitchen, washer dryer, 2 balconies upstairs and a patio downstairs-all with chairs/lounger, a grill, beach bags, beach towels, even 2 beach chairs that previous renters had left that we took with us every day to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park/beach. We loved the pass it along cabinet-what a great idea! Great location too! Close to the beach and just 1-2 blocks from Duval and many of our favorite restaurants! We walked/biked everywhere! Patty was always available to answer our questions, both when deciding to book and during our stay in Key West. We would definitely stay here again!
