Beautiful reno, central, to beach and golf
1340 Sea Elder Ct is a two-story villa in the popular Fairway Oaks neighborhood enjoys a private setting overlooking serene lagoon waters and lush maritime forest, and a quiet end-unit location that affords privacy away from neighboring properties. Through the trees, glimpses of wildlife and the Cougar Point golf course can be seen.
The villa is within close proximity to the beach, the brand new conference center, and Cougar Point Clubhouse (check out the brand new clubhouse!) Just past the first security gate, it's an easy drive on and off the Island.
The interior of the villa has been completely renovated and features a reverse floor plan to take full advantage of the views from the spacious living and dining area on the second floor, as well as from the back deck. Hardwood floors and bright, natural light from picture windows flow throughout the space, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Smooth ceilings, recessed lighting, and newly painted walls and cabinets provide a lively, fresh new look. The kitchen has a pass through to the dining area, allowing for easy entertaining. A powder room off the living area completes the space.
The first floor of the home includes three bedrooms with new carpeting and ample closet space for storage, as well as two full bathrooms and a laundry room. We also have the unit next door, a two bedroom, available if you need more space for guests! Speak with us about a discount for booking both units.

When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights you will receive a valuable credit of up to $210 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice is required. (not available in low season, late Oct to mid Mar)

We had a great stay at this property. We loved that it was 2 floors with nobody above or below us. The wooded views from upstairs and the back deck were really nice. We loved the close proximity to several boardwalks and Cougar Point. We also loved riding to Night Heron for kids crafts, activities, and the playground, and grabbing food at The Nest. The only thing Iâd suggest to improve the condition of the property would be to have the first floor bedroom carpets cleaned, especially in the main bedroom.
We absolutely loved where we were. It is a beautiful property with amazing views and pretty close to every thing we wanted. The walk to the beach was super easy and nice too! We will definitely be staying here again!
Our family was extremely pleased with this condo. It is a great location that is very close to the beach and the owners did a fabulous job with their renovation.
Pros: It was updated, clean and attractive. Good appliances, esp the washer-dryer and dishwasher. We had a minor problem with the washer but resolved it quickly. Good outdoor equipment for beach. Comfortable sofa.
Negatives:
1. We had known that it was the upside down arrangement and decided quickly that we did not care for that. Just not convenient.
2. We knew that a problem had existed with AC but thought it had been fixed. It definitely had not! You either froze or were hot. If upstairs was comfortable, downstairs was freezing. Nothing in-between, esp in the spare bedroom.
3. Several bugs and spiders were in the bedrooms (another reason not to like the upside-down arrangement.)
4. No pool; we booked quickly thinking that it was the last choice and did not realize that owner did not have an arrangement with any Kiawah properties to use a pool. We are outdoor people and spent the day playing tennis, golf and biking so we really wanted to have a pool to use.
5. In re to above, if you are not on a Kiawah property you lose a lot of the perks.
6. TV with the streaming was not conducive to watching sports and news which we love. Basically you had to watch movies or nothing.
Itâs nice to just go straight to your place of stay and walk in. No clerks , no desk, no waiting. Very clean and comfortable place to stay Had one very minor issue during stay but was addressed promptly

The perfect spot to ring in 2021. This property has been updated beautifully from head to toe. Clean, modern, beach decor and all the amenities, plus a great (close to the beach) location make it our favorite Kiawah rental (there have been many) so far!
We loved that this property was newly renovated and up to date.
The location to the beach was the perfect walk, to the beach access. Everyday we just kept our beach stuff in the truck and some would drive the truck to unload and the rest would ride the bike or stroll the baby to the beach!
The A/C could use some work, it was freezing downstairs, but I guess that is better than being too hot :)
I would recommend moving the motion sensored lights from the bedroom to the bathroom, they are really sensitive.
Our family of 7 fit just right in this condo. We felt very at home and relaxed! If I go back to Kiawah I would definitely stay here again!
