Aloha and welcome to our family friendly home of 50 years!

Located a 5-minute walk from Kamaole Beach III; our 1200 square foot condo can accommodate up to 6 people comfortably and is our little piece of paradise.
The open concept living space includes a kitchen equipped with all the amenities; a dining table for all six guests and additional casual seating at the breakfast bar. The comfortably furnished living room with two sofas, one that converts to a queen bed. There is a private lanai accessible from the living room and the master bedroom. The living space opens to the second sleeping area, or the Shoji-style doors can be closed for privacy.

Each sleeping area has an attached bathroom with showers, ample closet, drawer and counter space (including dual sinks in the master bath). If you are staying for a long-term visit, you will have lots of space to move in, unpack and be right at home. The master bedroom hosts a king bed with a TV for late night viewing. The secondary room hosts a queen bed and a single bed to accommodate the whole family. Finally, there is a pull out bed in the living space to accommodate a sixth guest.

Our unit is located on the quiet and calmer side of the complex sheltered from the daily afternoon trade winds. We have air conditioning available in the main living space and master bedroom. For those who prefer fresh air, the bathrooms and kitchen have louvered windows that allow you to control the amount of fresh tropical breeze to your liking. There is a ceiling fan in the entertainment area and efficient floor fans throughout. A telephone with complimentary calling to Canada/USA/Mexico and Wi-Fi is available in the condo for staying connected with those not enjoying life at the beach.

Haleakala Shores is a peaceful resort with many permanent residents who take immense pride in their complex. The atmosphere is quiet, the pool area is a wonderful place to relax, in the sun or in the shade, lounging or sitting, socializing, reading, or enjoying the free WIFI. After a morning at the beach, you can take a dip in the refreshing solar heated pool. Adjacent to the pool are tables shaded by a vine covered pergola that transitions to the barbeque area (4 barbeques cleaned daily) and additional tables. This is an ideal area to sit with friends and family, sip a refreshing drink, watch the kids in the pool, develop a daily BBQ bromance, or rekindle old ones from past years while grilling your favorite meal.

A 5-minute stroll from the pool brings you to one of the best beaches on the Island, Kamaole Beach III. You can bring the provided towels, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, snorkeling equipment for a day of sun tanning, swimming, and snorkeling. Bring your phone to take videos – it is common to have turtles sunning themselves on the slightly submersed lava rock or swimming amongst you in the surf which is typically mild to a little wild. On the bank above the beach, there are lifeguards on duty during the day, picnic and shaded grass areas, showers, washrooms, and a children’s playpark. Every evening hosts a fabulous sunset!

Between the complex and the beach is South Kihei Road where you can easily walk to restaurants and shops. We recommend Taco Tuesdays at Fred’s – just a 10-minute walkway. One block South is Kihei’s boat dock featuring daily snorkel and dive excursions to Molokini underwater crater and Turtle Town. A little further South is Wailea featuring the Shops of Wailea, fine dining restaurants, and world class golf courses. Going on an excursion elsewhere on the island, there is direct access to the Pi’ilani highway from the adjacent street, Keonekai Road. Cool covered assigned parking is available for one car at the condo. There is public transit with a bus stop directly in front of the building on South Kihei road.
