Breathtaking ocean views!! Steps to the beach!! Recently remodeled!!

Our Hale Kai O Kihei (‘ha-lay-ky o ‘kee-hay) condo offers breathtaking ocean views. On the private lanai, you can enjoy the tranquil sounds of the ocean and view the amazing year-round sunsets. There are also miles of sandy, un-crowded beach directly in front of the condo, excellent for morning and evening walks.

The beachfront location and amazing ocean views are comparable to what you would find at the nicest resort. But, at our condo, you will have privacy, your own private lanai, and is fully equipped for your comfort and enjoyment. Our condo has a private 1 bedroom with a queen-sized bed and an updated bathroom with a new tile shower and vanity with granite. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for all your cooking needs. The living room, which opens to the outside lanai, comes with a new sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress, ceiling fan, & AC unit. The high-speed internet provides an average of 63 Mbps download and 7.31 Mbps upload.

Hale Kai O Kihei’s many amenities include a pool, shuffleboard area, and gas grill barbeques. Laundry facilities are also conveniently located on the property.

The condo location is on a quiet residential street just one block from the Times Market (formerly Star Market) and the Azeka Shopping Center in Kihei. You are within walking distance of retail stores in Azeka Shopping Center, grocery stores, shopping, and great restaurants (Nalu's, Pizza Madness, Coconuts, Fabianno’s, Fork & Salad, & Amigo’s – to name a few). Within walking distance, you will find 2 fitness centers to choose from, a yoga studio, and the Kihei Aquatic Center (lap swimming & water aerobics) for all your fitness needs. There are also beauty salons & nail salons within shopping complexes and a post office, dive shop, scooter rentals, ATMs, and banks. You will find a farmer’s market open every Saturday and an open-air craft market & gift items available daily. Kihei Rent-A-Car is nearby, and they offer shuttle service to and from the airport.

Depending on swell direction, you can enjoy surfing & stand-up paddling in front of the condo complex, and with steady trade winds, windsurfing, and kiteboarding!

For any medical needs you may have, there are a few outpatient medical clinics nearby.

Public transit is one block from the complex. The condo is only a short 10-minute drive to Wailea & a 20-minute drive to Kahului International Airport.

Please note: There are no elevators at this complex. We are on the 2nd floor.

Wonderful life...in paradise

Bonjour ... Vous arrivez en voiture dans la rĂ©sidence, plein de places disponibles pour se garer. Vous montez dans l'appartement. Le premier sentiment c'est que tout est propre et vous admirez la vue, la mer, le coucher de soleil face Ă  vous. Dans la cuisine, vous ĂȘtes comme chez vous avec assiettes, verres, ustensiles divers, lave vaisselle etc. Le barbecue est accessible. Il y a des transats face Ă  la mer. La piscine est apprĂ©ciable. La chambre : La literie est excellente. Nous avons des problĂšmes de dos et nous avons trĂšs bien dormi avec 12h de dĂ©calage horaire ! SURPRISE ! Vous arrivez avec votre premier petit dĂ©jeuner offert dans un panier et une bouteille d 'eau au frais. Quelle attention ! Susan & Ron nous ont laissĂ© un message, nous avons rencontrĂ© Ron trĂšs gentil... Tout est fait pour votre plaisir avec par exemple des Ă©quipements de plage (bodyboard, chaises, parasol, glaciĂšre...) De plus, vous avez le sentiment d 'une plage privĂ©e ou presque, en face de vous. La baignade avant le petit dĂ©jeuner est trĂšs apprĂ©ciĂ©e. Le lieu est calme, serein, propice au repos et Ă  la relaxation. Une petite faim ? Le premier centre commercial est derriĂšre l'appartement, vous pouvez y aller Ă  pied pour les plus courageux. Susan & Ron vous ont laissĂ© plein de brochures et de conseils de restaurants et de sorties. Les distances : Cet appartement est idĂ©alement situĂ© pour dĂ©couvrir l'Ăźle: 15 mn de l'aĂ©roport, 20 mn de Lahaina, de la route de Hana, de Paia et du dĂ©but de la route vers le volcan (Ă  faire absolument). A trĂšs bientĂŽt!

The hosts provided everything you could need for a beach vacation including lawn chairs, a cooler, beach towels, and an umbrella. The kitchen is well stocked making it easy to cook your meals there and enjoy them on the lanai. We rented from November 29 to December 6th and spent a lot of time whale watching on the beach which is just steps away from the unit. The location is very convenient and it was very quiet. Check in and out was very easy and the hosts were very accomodating.

We've stayed at Hale Kai O'Kihei twice before and this is by far the best unit we've rented. Very nicely finished and we'll furnished with all the little items that set it apart from others. They provided everything, from a blender to boogie boards. It will be our first choice of units from here on out.

Beyond amazing!

This condo is perfect in every way! Beach access was super easy and close with an outstanding view for watching sunsets from the lanai. This is the single best I have ever seen a VRBO stocked...with beach towels and chairs, dishes, cookware and spices...even great soaps in the bathroom and multiple fans. We felt like we hit the jackpot with this find!

Epic location and view

Our stay in Kihei was nothing short of spectacular. The view from the property was absolutely breathtaking—truly an incredible location. The property team was also a joy to work with, making the entire process smooth and hassle-free. Although the unit didn't have a washer and dryer (but avail onsite), this minor detail was easily overshadowed by the overall amazing experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Kihei.

Fantastic Getaway

Joe and Roopa's place is awesome! I wanted a place that was "oceanfront" and Joe and Roopa's is literally about sixty steps from the beach. Sunsets and whale watching from the lanai were amazing! Very close proximity to restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy etc. The condo is equipped with all you will need including some nice extras like beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler. Comfy bed too! I highly recommend Joe and Roopa's, their place is perfect and they are very attentive, responsive, kind hosts.

The condo was tastefully updated! The view was amazing and the grounds/beach were great! We enjoyed sunsets from the balcony and walks on the beach to see sea turtles. We would absolutely stay here again on a return trip to Maui!

Nice condo with spectacular ocean view!

We really enjoyed staying here. It’s just steps from the beach ( with gentle waves and shallow water - our kids loved it). The view from the balcony is just gorgeous - we spent so much time just sitting there and enjoying the view ( especially sunsets!) the hosts are nice and responsive. A handwritten note upon our arrival was a nice touch!
