Kihei Bay Vista #C-205 is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit with both a partial ocean view and an inner courtyard view. This unit is air-conditioned in the living room (window unit) and in the bedroom with a new portable AC, ceiling fans throughout, has a fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, 2 TVs, free wireless Internet, and telephone with long distance calling to the US mainland and Canada. The bedroom features a queen bed, portable a/c, a ceiling fan, and flat-screen TV. There is a queen sofa bed in the living room along with a/c and flat-screen TV. The bathroom features a shower only (no tub available). For outdoor activities, Kihei Bay Vista #C-205 is equipped with beach chairs, and beach towels. Sleeps 4. Please note: This unit is on the second floor with no elevator available.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.

The Kihei Bay Vista is a wonderful property. It is located in Kihei Maui, just steps from the ocean. It has a pool and hot tub, gas grills for your use as well as an outdoor dining area. This property is one of the great finds for the price in Kihei. All units are 1 bedroom 1 bath so the property has a relaxed and quiet atmosphere about it. Guests come to this property year after year as they have found it a great home away from home. Kihei Bay Vista is just across the street from the Whale Sanctuary and a very long stretch of beach. Windsurf, whale watch, walk the beach and enjoy unbelievable sunsets. The Kihei Bay Vista is centrally located to shops, restaurants, activities and is a short drive to the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena.

Place was pretty good. Washer didn’t work but they sent a guy over right away - after leaving unplugged for a few hours it worked fine. Portable AC unit hose kept falling off window as it was just tapped in - found some tape and fixed. Second time at Kīhei Bay Vista and love the area. Lots of little bugs running around on counter as saw one cockroach run across the kitchen to disappear under dishwasher. Overall was a good place for our vacay on Maui.

First, I'm thankful for the cleanliness of the property, the clean condo, and the washer and dryer. After that, I have some concerns. The pull out couch was unbearable. It was squeaky, noisy, and no one slept much for 12 nights. The owner needs to sleep on it and see if 2 teenagers moving around on it for 12 nights would be okay with his family. Next, the sliding screen door would not stay on the tracks for barely one opening..not sure if it needs to be cleaned, oiled or replaced, but it was very difficult to manage every day. It would go onto the track, and it would open great a couple of times, then back off the track. The amount of stuff stored in the condo was ridiculous. We had 5 suitcases and couldn't find where to keep them, because the walk in closet was so full of the condo stuff, there was little room. All the extra bedding and locked up stuff was not what I was paying for. The paint, tiles, mirrors, stuff that had fallen off the walls and worn out beach chairs could easily be stored somewhere else or replaced with things like, a cooler, not a soft sided crappy fabric insulated bag. Beach chairs that were adult sized and were easy to open and close and were not 3 inches from the sand. Those cute little chairs aren't fun when to get into or out of for older folks and I couldn't get it closed most of the time. Garbage bags are not expensive, and yet, were were issued 3 for 12 days with 4 people. Not enough when I paid over 3,000. I wish it was better.

Had some issues with this place, but overall not too bad of a stay.The view was ok but the location was pretty good. Pretty quiet area.Parking was a little confusing. Some spots had a "reserved space" stamped in the ground. Parking became a bother, especially during the night when hard to see. Not the host's fault but confusing. Information binder in the condo said we had to register our car with the property but host said we didn't. Confusing and they should change that.Inside the place was pretty clean, though we noticed some tiny bugs near the bathroom sink. Bug spray cleaned them up well.The towel rod came loose and the host fixed it the next day. Place had plenty of towels. Actually, a crazy amount of towels. If you need towels, this is the place to go. Nice.Washer/dryer in unit worked great.Bedroom AC kept the room comfortable but loud. The living room AC is not as good. I'd recommend placing the fan in front of the AC which really helped a lot. The fan was a little broken, but I fixed it with a rubberband and worked great.On our last night we discovered the dishwasher had a small but steady water leak. Water slowly dripped onto the kitchen floor. We never used the dishwasher so we didn't know where the water was coming from. We put towels under the leak and notified the host. Never got a response about the issue. Assumed because it was our last night.Overall place was good but has some issues.

Perfect condo for a honeymoon couple. Fantastic location right across from a beautiful beach. Very comfortable and clean with nice amenities and plenty of beach gear. Loved the pool too. Would happily stay here again!

Clean and Comfortable 1BR

Easy to check-in with key code. Clean and well stocked with towels, beach toys, dinnerware. Great washer/dryer and dishwasher. Nice heated swimming pool outside. Convenient to Maui Bus. I made it without a car! Spectrum cable service was intermittent requiring 2-3x to get it to work each time. Bus will take you to Kahului where there is a Costco and WalMart. I cooked all of my own food and saved. I would not hesitate to come back!

Nice place

I came for work and the place is nice. The only problem i had was I stayed during a heavy storm. The problem is that there is a creek in the back of the complex parking lot. I work up to find the storm raised the water over the parking lot and flooded all the cars in the lot. When I opened my doors, all the floor boards where filled with water and mud. Make sure you have car insurance on your rental other wise the condo is beautiful

Awesome Condo in Kihei

This condo was wonderful. Just the right size! Close to the pool, hot tub, and bbqs but back from the main road. Beach was across the road and you never had to wait long for a break in the traffic to cross. Wonderful beach, not busy, AND, large green sea turtles came up every night to sleep on the beach. They would leave at different times of the morning to go back to sea. This place is in a perfect place for easy access to all parts of the Island, close to grocery stores, restaurants, shops. Would definitely stay again if/when I go back.

Great, quiet location

Everything was as promised. Great location near many things, but not right in the middle of it, making it a lovely, quiet place to settle in. The place was spacious and clean, and we were impressed with all the things available for our use, such as towels and beach supplies. The only thing I would suggest is not having guests turn the ac off at checkout, as when we arrived for check in it was very warm and took a full 24 hrs to get it cooled down enough for our comfort, especially back in the bedroom. But once it did reach the temp we wanted, it was great. Thank you for a great stay!

Amazing location with a lovely beach for swimming right across the street! The apartment was nice with everything needed for a relaxing vacation, especially the pool and hot tub and great restaurants just up the road.
