Kealia Unit 208 offers a welcoming ambiance with its tasteful tiling and recently remodeled kitchen, making it a perfect home away from home. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite counters, providing an ideal space. The large island offers seating for four, allowing for both entertaining and intimate family meals. While preparing meals, guests can enjoy stunning views of Ma'alaea Bay and the Pacific Ocean, complemented by the warmth of the sun filtering through the serene park.

For those who prefer al fresco dining, the private lanai presents an idyllic setting to appreciate Maui's natural beauty. Whether indulging in breakfast, lunch, or simply unwinding on the comfortable leather sofa, the ever-changing hues of the sky and water create a captivating backdrop.

The process for checking in was easy and we had all of the info we needed in advance. The condo was well-equipped and the appliances worked. The location was excellent. Our only notes are that the living room area rug needs to be cleaned and the shower water did not get really hot.

We have stayed in this building multiple times, and will continue to do so. The grounds are extremely well kept, and you are RIGHT on the water. The central location places you on the far north edge of Kihei, a short 10-15 minute drive from Kahului or Wailea, and about 30 minutes to Lahaina. This unit in particular was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. For only being on the 2nd floor, it has a better than average view of the water - IMO even better than some of the 6th floor units. The parking spot is situated right next to the lanai allowing you to easily see your vehicle, even from inside. The property manager is responsive and pleasant to deal with. I will mention that other units we've stayed in have had a small stock pile of shampoos, conditioners, sunscreens, etc. This one does not, so you will need to pack, or purchase those items once you arrive. From my perspective, there are only two real drawbacks to this building - the pond smell and the traffic noise. If you can live with that, they are a great choice at a reasonable cost.

Great Get-away

First trip to Maui, first Vrbo experience. In house manager was very helpful with initial questions, follow-up questions after booking, and in person once at property. Very glad with our choice and would do everything again (except the crying baby on the return flight home). Mahalo!

Great for an affordable stay with private beach access

This place was perfect for our stay in Hawaii. I love the easy beach access and the pool was awesome for the kids. Honestly, it was so quiet and private. It is smaller than it looks in the photos, but it was great!

Close to beach and lovely view

Unit was very clean and the perfect size for two of us. Downside was the noise from the road/street that you can see from the unit, all day and through the night which we could hear even with the doors and windows closed. The sliding glass door to the patio had to be fixed three times. And the front door locking mechanism would sometimes lock and other times it stopped working, would not lock, which was frustrating as we didn't want to leave our unit unlocked and had to stay in the unit until we could get help. At times it was hard to find someone to help, but when we did get help, Sherry was very responsive and helpful as was the handyman who came to fix the sliding glass door. We didn't realize there was some one living on-site who could have helped us. TV remote instructions need to be updated with clear instructions as it was hard to navigate the 2 TV's. Good instructions when checking out.

Small, quiet complex

This place looks just like the pictures. There is ocean access with a shower to rinse off along with beach chairs, coolers and an umbrella. There was also sunscreen for when we ran out. Overall, great experience.

Very nice location

We loved the beach access and the location of the property. It was very nice and updated on the inside. Overall it was clean. The reason I rated 4 stars is because the unit had roaches
mostly in the kitchen on the counters and in drawers, but we also saw a few in other areas of the house. We had to put all of our food in the fridge because bugs would get In the bags. We told the apartment manager and she came to spray and even tidied up a bit, but obviously spraying once isn’t going to eliminate the bugs. We continued to see them throughout our stay. It was a little disappointing because we paid so much money to stay there. Overall, the communication with the host was great and they attempted to correct issues we presented. The unit is a bit smaller in person than I anticipated based on the pictures. However, the description was accurate. Hopefully the bug problem will be fixed for future guests.

My 3 adult children and I loved our visit to the Sugar beach area! Such a beautiful beach and grounds. Everything was wonderful at the property, but our unit was a bit small for us. I would definitely return however. Thanks for the hospitality!

Lovely Escape

If you like being away from the crowds, stay here! We don’t deem ourselves big resort people, so this place was lovely for a peaceful getaway. We sat on the balcony each morning watching the water and drinking coffee. Great location to access other parts of the island, such as the road to Hana.

We loved our stay. The beds were comfy, shower hot and good pressure, all the kitchen stuff you could ever need. Loved the location and condo amenities. Grills, outdoor picnic tables, wonderful pool, great parking, lawn chairs, great beach access. Road noise was loud but not awful when running the AC at night. We slept super comfortably. Can’t wait to come back.

Direct access to beach

It was perfect for myself and 3 kids. Loved that it had direct access to beach and it felt as if we were on a private beach. Not crowded and just absolutely beautiful. Close to harbor, aquarium, grocery store. Able to walk next door and rent snorkeling gear for kids. Definitely be back again

The condo was great w beautiful ocean view from one side of livingroom and lanai. Lanai opens up onto highway side of bldg. Modern apartment, comfy bed, kitchen. So close to ocean you can hear the ocean waves... if you can tune out the constant busy highway noise which is closer than waves on beach. If you're looking for serene natural environment this is not it. The condo is sweet w all amenities, small white sandy beach and grassy area at back of building. Pool was locked. Didn't have key to open and contact person not available for 10 days. Alternate number was message machine for property mgt co. Also portable AC in bedroom blows right in your face. I wouldnt rent again unless same was available facing ocean side.
