The Space:
The Aloha Mai Suite is a proud member of the Aloha Aku rental family. Located at the fabulous Maui Sunset Resort Condo complex it offers the traveler looking for the resort condo experience a generous balance of reasonable cost and access to large resort amenities.


Family friendly, this Oceanfront resort condo has been totally remodeled in 2020. It features 1 bedroom with a comfortable California King bed, 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers, a spacious living room with a queen pull-out sleeper sofa, as well as a comfortable queen murphy bed for even more sleeping space. It also sports a fully equipped remodeled kitchen and private covered lanai with partial ocean view.


There is a large pool and activities reservation center onsite with an array of lawn games and equipment available for check-out as well as stand-up paddle board rentals. Security is maintained 24 hours and with easy self-check in you can access your suite any time of day or night. There is a courteous and helpful registration office with staff available and convenient free parking is right outside your door. There is a small workout room, shuffleboards, putting greens on property, and adjacent public tennis courts.


The Maui Sunset is on Waiohuli Beach, an unspoiled, uncrowded area, and one of Maui's best kept secrets! World class golf courses and other great swimming and snorkeling beaches are nearby. Centrally located in mid-Kihei, lots of restaurants, shopping and groceries are within easy walking & biking distance.


The Aloha Mai Suite is a beautifully renovated and comfortable one bedroom condo on the ground-floor of one of the best maintained resort/condominium complexes on Maui. Aloha Mai means "to receive love". We would love to host you and make your stay the most memorable and enjoyable as possible!

The condo was beautiful and spacious. We were very happy having 2 bathrooms with the five of us. The kids did great on the pull out and Murphy beds.The grounds were well maintained and close to food, shopping and the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This condo’s location was great. Beaches and stores nearby. The hosts communication was fast. Was easy to get in touch with and very friendly. But the condo itself was not what I expected. It was a little run down and some spots in the place were dirty. The curtains were a little dirty and the window sills were dirty. My husband had to scrub the dish rack for us to use. And I understand we are in a tropical area but roaches were in the condo. My husband luckily decided to unpack and found a dead roach in our son’s luggage. There were combat traps all over the condo and a previous visitor left a a bug catcher and so many on it. It didn’t help it was on the ground floor and attracted bugs. We have stayed in Hawaii many times and have not experience the roaches like this. Maybe just a thought if you are considering a ground floor unit

My granddaughter w/huband and daughter and her friend had a great week here in this condo at Maui Sunset. Only problem was mess in bottom of refrigerator and running out of toilet paper. There were three females staying there.

Had a wonderful 7 days in Kihei - this place was great. Loved that you could walk the beautiful beach, the grounds were very well maintained, the pool was delightful and my husband was able to walk to the city park and play pickleball every morning.

Great updated condo at Maui Sunset. The double sofa and murphy bed made it really comfortable for myself, mom and 2 kids. Being on the ground floor is great. Made it so easy to get in and out, to the pool and the beach. Close to stores and restaurants. Had all the beach gear we could need, chairs, umbrella, cooler, even sunscreen. Would definetely stay here again.

Great, relaxing, quiet spot! Great accomodations, pricing was suitable. Thank you! Would be nice to have those little things, such as pepper, sugar...I bought a kettle for my tea because the ones provided weren't clean enough. It's expensive to buy all those little items for a few days so I suggest people pack some zip lock bags. Overall it was a super vacation and most enjoyable. Thanks for sharing your condo Gary.

Great condo and location

When we walked in we were surprised by the size (2 baths), the Murphy bed for guests, well equipped kitchen, and comfy master bed. Close to great beaches, Maui Ocean Center and other activities. Nice strolling beach behind the condo and pool was great! The owner communicated throughout and all things were as promised. We would highly recommend this place!

Perfect if you have young children

The location is amazing for allowing your kids to just run out the back door on the grass. The place could use a little love, but overall was good. Plenty of space with the Murphy bed, and pullout couch. Loved having laundry in the unit and 2 bathrooms! Smell of rotten shrimp/fish took over if you left the AC off for too long.

Cute condo in Kihei

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this condo in Kihei! Loved that it fit our family of 5 perfectly. It was nicely decorated. It would have been nice to have a tv in the bedroom though. Two separate bathrooms were a plus! We’d totally come back to A102 again.
