Menehune Shores #424: Completely Remodeled Ocean Front 2 bedroom condo

Completely Remodeled Ocean Front two-bedroom condo located at the Menehune Shores in Kihei creates the perfect spot for your Maui getaway. The lanai is a great place to relax and enjoy the ocean views. The beach in front of the property is great for taking morning walks and evening strolls while watching the Maui sunset on the ocean. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing meals for the family to enjoy while out exploring or for enjoying in the condo or on the lanai.

This condo will accommodate up to five people. The master bedroom features a king bed and an en-suite bathroom. There is a queen bed and a twin bed in the second bedroom. The bathroom in the master bedroom has a large mirror on a beautiful vanity and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom bathroom also has a vanity with a large mirror, nice lighting, and a walk-in shower. There is a washer and dryer in the condo. The kitchen and the bathrooms have been upgraded and the kitchen now has gorgeous countertops and stainless steel appliances.

This two-bedroom condo is located at the oceanfront Menehune Shores complex in Northern Kihei. Menehune Shores has one pool and gas grills for their residents to enjoy. The property also has coin laundry facilities and elevators for your leisure. You could even step outside the norm and enjoy the shuffleboard courts before or after dining at the on-site restaurant, Monsoon India.

Near the complex, you can find the Kalepolepo Beach Park which is next door, and the Mai Poina Beach Park located two minutes away. The complex is a short drive to many shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. One shopping center nearby would be Azeka's Shopping Center- home to Miso Phat Sushi, Nutcharees Authentic Thai Food, Roasted Chiles, and Coconut's Fish Cafe. Long's Drugs (Drug Store) is also next door to Azeka's. Up the road from Azeka's is the Piilani Shopping Center with Safeway Grocery Store, Outback Steakhouse, and another food court with Subway, Coldstone Creamery, and Roundtable Pizza Company. Additional activities to enjoy are the Maui Ocean Center, Maui Tropical Plantation, or various Upcountry Maui opportunities such as the Lavender Farm, Ocean Vodka, or Zip Lining. Great location but property management firm unresponsive

This property is managed by a company instead of the owner directly. The property owner has clearly put in an effort to decorate and furnish the condo nicely and comfortably. The deck (lanai) was a great place to drink morning coffees and evening beverages. The location is convenient for accessing almost the entire island. The fish pond was an interesting feature with sea turtles frequenting the area. The fish pond has nearly zero waves, and the area next to it had some small waves. The main issue with this property and reason for the overall 3 star review was the lack of response by the property management company to termites in the master bedroom. After promising an exterminator and cleaning on multiple calls over multiple days to first-level phone receptionists, a supervisor finally admitted no exterminator would be coming and promises of an exterminator were a "miscommunication" by their staff. I have mixed feelings leaving a moderately negative review because the property owner has definitely invested in making the rental nice and the location was great for us, but the management firm entirely mishandled and "miscommunicated" their response to the bug issue. The A/C is a great benefit for humid days, the view from the lanai is beautiful, and the location is convenient to most of the island. Just hope you don't have problems with the property because the management firm is lackluster in their response.

Good location

Good part: 1. The view from the lanai is good, it is facing south, good ocean view, but cannot see sunset 2. They provide beach chairs and umbrellas. 3. Fish pond is right in front of the property. Great for little kids to swim safely. 4. Shampoo is provided just for the first night portion only. Detergent for washer and dishwasher, toilet papers, kitchen papers are sufficient for our stay. 5. Beds are comfortable. There are some unhappy experiences here: 1. Maybe we were just unlucky but one of the shower rooms’ drain was completely clogged which caused flood so we had to clean the bathroom on the first night we arrived with very limited number of bath towels they provided. Repair was sent on our third night so we had to share one shower room for the first two nights. 2. The lanai furniture was obviously not cleaned. Lots of sands, dust and birds’ wastes on the patio furniture. We had to clean them before having dinner in the lanai. 3. There are no cooking knives in this property. There are plenty of steak knives but we have hard time to cut fruits. 4. Dryer filter was not cleaned - it didn’t work properly at the beginning and we noticed lots of lint on the filter. 5. There are no Beach towels or floating devices. We understand the owners are not required to provide those but most properties we used before provided beach towels.

Great place to stay in Kihei!!!

We had an unforgettable vacation in Maui and this condo is in a great central location to see it all! It fit our family of 4 perfectly and the views from the lanai are amazing! Great for morning coffee! We loved seeing the turtles everyday!

Comfortable home away from home. Just perfect for us.

We arrived earlier than check-in schedule. Was told we will be contacted if we can check in earlier but we didn’t get a call until almost 4 we decided to go to the unit and it was ready. We were disappointed in that part of the experience because we were in the area since 11:30am and just hang out by the pool, hoping to get settled at least maybe hoping at least by 2. We were told they are still cleaning unit when we asked but the registry book says it was occupied up to the 8th of June. We arrived 9th. Other than that handling, unit was as it was described as we reserved it. The beach chairs were nice to have (umbrellas we didn’t use). The view was perfect for what we hoped for. The unit was clean and comfortable for our family of four.
