Nani Kai Hale 601 is a 1 bedroom, 2 bath top floor condo with high efficiency split air conditioning. Light and bright tropical décor and a picture window facing the beautiful Pacific ocean. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing a quick snack or some delicious Hawaiian gourmet meals. The convenient floor plan has two bathrooms.You will enjoy magnificent sunrises over Haleakala from the airy lanai and you are just steps away to stroll the beach and savor breathtaking sunsets. A perfect spot for your Maui Holiday.

At this beachfront property we provide beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach cooler. We suggest renting beach toys (such as snorkel gear, paddle boards, boogie boards, etc) from one of the many rental companies on Maui.

Nani Kai Hale is a beloved location among first time visitors and repeat guests. There is a shared oceanfront pool next to the grassy lawn space. This area also has an outdoor BBQ/kitchen common area and this space is well equipped with comfortable lounge space for guests to enjoy. On each floor of the property, is a pay-to-use laundry room each with two washers and two dryers.

Beautiful view of the sunrise and ocean

We very much enjoyed our stay Beautiful sunrises however no sunsets from the balcony . The view of the ocean is great Unfortunately you could not hear the waves because the unit is situated at a very busy road//intersection so there is a lot of traffic noise The unit was clean however the kitchen could have been better organized. Previous guests likely just placed stuff everywhere . The dishwasher needs to be serviced as dishes would not always come clean as evidenced from the dishes put away in the cupboards The unit does need to be upgraded but you can easily overlooked this because it is nicely situated close to the ocean which is a huge benefit We thought it was great value for what we paid

Wonderful location lack luster air-conditioning

So to start the good: The location is amazing, you're between Kihei and Lahaina and the views are stunning The bed was very comfortable and the two bathrooms was very handy after a day at the beach Neutral notes: The condo is very dated, but the view and location make up for a lot of that. The cons: We couldn't get the air conditioners to work in a meaningful way. The living room one was better than the bedroom, and the ceiling fan worked well, but it was still uncomfortably warm. We had some trouble at night falling asleep due to the bedroom temp. We got in late the first day and assumed it hadn't had enough time to cool things off, however once we woke up, we found the air-conditioner did have some cold air but didn't blow it anywhere, so it didn't cool the room. We were there on dive trips, so mostly gone during the day, so I didn't get a chance to call till a couple days in, the person I talked to was nice and said he'd call their air conditioning guy and get back to us. We didn't hear back from him and with our dive schedule weren't able to follow up. So is it a great condo? Yes, but go elsewhere if you sleep hot.

Great place for the price

I highly recommend staying at this property. It looked just like the photos and has amazing access to the beach. The property has a beautiful lawn area with chairs and umbrellas, great for getting out of the sun while still enjoying the ocean view. It was also very clean and conveniently stocked with beach chairs and coolers.. The location was beautiful and made it easy to travel to surrounding areas. We loved that the farmers market, bakery and abc store were only a few minutes walk from us.

Perfect little spot

This place was lovely, and clean! We appreciated all the little extras the owners left for us, the beach towels/ coolers and beach chairs were very thoughtful! Kitchen is fully stocked! At night you have a perfect view of the ocean, the roosters are a gentle way to wake up. It’s amazing. We loved it!

Amazing Location

This condo was perfect for being close to beaches but not surrounded by tone of tourist! It’s centrally located so getting to pretty much any area of the island was very easy! It was well stocked with almost anything you could need (other than your food). Highly recommend this location to anyone looking to stay on the south side of the island! Also, walking distance to a farmers market!

Review

Highly recommend - it's nothing fancy or flashy, but it has everything you need for a couple on vacation or couple with one child. Again, location is perfect, bed was comfy, it had AC, kitchen had everything you need. The location didn't feel super touristy which is a plus, and the beach view is incredible. Great place for a great price.

Only thing that was a bummer was that the dishwasher leaked. But I mopped it up and we just washed by hand. Other than that it was excellent. I loved the fact there were beach chairs and a cooler for us to use. Will absolutely stay there again.

Wonderful vacation!

We were very pleased with this property and our condo. The location was perfect for so many things: beautiful beach and scenery, great restaurants, shopping, etc. Our condo was great for our 3 week stay. It was very clean, comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, and relaxing living room area. The laundry room facilities and the property grounds were very well maintained. We would highly recommend this property and have already made plans to return next year- bringing some friends with us.

I just loved that place, everything was clean, the house is pretty comfortable and I could feel like home. The kitchen has everything you need and the bed is so comfortable. Also the property has a great pool that I could enjoy it, and the access to the beach is easy. The location is pretty good too, safe and chill area.

We had a lovely stay at this condo. The pictures don't do the view justice and the interior has been updated a bit with flat screen tv's and some new curtains/furniture. The beach access is amazing and we had an amazing time overall. Would recommend 10/10. Also, its about 10-15 minutes from everything in kihei.

Quiet, relaxing property. Great view from the balcony. Loved the chairs and tables set up on the grassy area by the beach. We would watch the sunset every night in the lounge chairs. No restaurants in walking distance but we didn’t need that—had rental car.

On the Beach in Kihei Bay

Nice condo on the 6th floor with view of ocean from the balcony and living room. Not on the side to view the sunset, but that's ok. Can walk right down to the BBQ area and be right on the beach. BBQ area was clean with three grills. No spa, but a small pool. Fully stocked kitchen, plus beach chairs, cooler and a few essentials. Great to have AC in the unit. Not walkable to many places, but right on the beach and general store, shaved ice and bakery close by. Restaurants only a few miles away, so no big deal if you have a car. And we loved the bobtail cat that hung around!

Lovely little condo!

We loved this place! It is right on the beach, has an amazing balcony, is very central and has an amazing farmers market and bakery across the street. I do hope that the property management becomes a bit more organized. We did not have the binder with all of the relevant info, registration paper and parking pass in our unit, and had a hard time getting a hold of anyone to get it. We received the wrong Wi-Fi password and wrong code to the pool. But other than that, we definitely enjoyed our stay.

Loved the one bedroom two bath unit with nice view of kihei coastline. Very very clean, nicely decorated, two TVs with cable, kitchen was ready for any kind of cooking you might want, nice pots and pans too. My only minor negative is the distant traffic noise at certain times of the day. Would stay there again! Every evening watched a fabulous sunset from the beach out front. Didn't use the pool but looked clean and nice. Parking was easy. Quiet respectful other tenants and tourists.

Great location!

We loved the location of this condo. This was our 4th trip to Maui, and our 1st time at Nani Kai. The complex is quiet (other than some road noise but that's no biggie). Adequate parking, easy check in process, good communication before the trip with instructions. The condo itself could use some TLC. Our 1st night there I hopped into the shower and the door tracks were FILLED with black mold. I spent 30 minutes cleaning it but could only get so far without cleaning supplies. I have a compromised immune system and will always Clorox wipe down a rental or motel upon arrival. Surfaces were either very dusty, or had a build up of grime (door knobs, light switches). Pros: well stocked kitchen, the bed was comfortable, the beach chairs were handy, and having 2 bathrooms was surprisingly nice even with just 2 people. We could return from snorkeling and both hop in the shower right away. Cons: the overall level of cleanliness, and general wear and tear. The sheets had some small holes in them, the beach towels were thin and well worn. An in unit washer and drier are my preference but it wasn't horrible using the shared one down the hall. With some better cleaning and some updated items (sheets, beach towels) this would be a perfect place!
