Sunset Dreamin’ is a cozy, waterfront home, off the beaten path in the Colington Harbour community of Kill Devil Hills. Situated directly on the canal, Sunset Dreamin’ lives up to its name with breathtaking sunset views from the decks, living room, top level en suite, and sunroom. Boating enthusiasts will enjoy the private boat dock, with community boat ramp access located nearby.

Wide, wraparound decks invite you up the front stairs with cheery, colorful touches on the exterior of the home. As you enter, you’ll experience the thoughtful and charming coastal décor and open floorplan suitable for enjoying family togetherness. The main level includes a well-appointed eat-in kitchen with seating for 4, plus 4 counter height barstools, and access to the sunroom for the ultimate in relaxation and serenity.

Also on the main level are two bedrooms, one with a king bed, the other a queen, both accessing the full hall bathroom. Upstairs, you’ll find a king en suite, featuring gorgeous sunset and canal views. Retire for the evening enjoying the kaleidoscope of colors only an OBX sunset can provide.

Enjoy fishing or crabbing or try a variety of water activities right off the private dock. Or simply relax, soak up the sun or enjoy the stars in the canalfront seating area.

If you’d like to venture out, Colington Harbour is a biker-friendly community with plenty of areas to explore. Guests are Sunset Dreamin' are sure to enjoy all of the amenities Colington Harbour offers just .08 miles away, including a soundside park with sandy beaches, a playground, with a sheltered picnic area, an Olympic-sized soundfront community pool and kiddie pool, community tennis, and basketball courts. Colington Harbour also offers boat ramp access, so you can cruise the canals or hit the sound for a fun-filled day on the water!

We had a great stay! The house was cozy and perfect. We loved the sun room and multiple decks. The sunset on the deck was the perfect end to each day. The house was well maintained and had most essentials you need. Highly recommend! Plus the neighborhood was convenient with their gas station and coffee shop.

This is my second stay in this house. It’s a very nice house with all the right amenities. Always clean. The screened porch is a wonderful place to sit with coffee in the morning, a book in the afternoon, and sunset views in the evening. Love the new patio furniture on the deck. I will be back!

Beautiful Location and Well-Appointed Home

The home was in pristine condition. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the sun room, the deck and upper patio. Appliances and electronics were all up to date. Beautiful location in Colington Harbour. Would not hesitate to rent again!
