Check in was easy. Only problem was the toilet was acting up off and on. Morning we left the toilet would not flush at all. We also did not have the room serviced (cleaned and restocked) so we were out of coffee. We did get some in the breakfast area. It was probably our fault as we put the do not disturb sign on the door when we took a nap but removed it later. Also the phone in our room was not working otherwise I would have called the front desk. Not a big problem as we all use our cell phones anyway!

While the rooms at this hotel may appear nice at first glance, there is a serious and dangerous safety issue on the property. During my stay, I slipped and fell down a set of stairs due to excessive water accumulation—likely from leaking AC units and runoff from the pool deck. The fall caused a severe injury to my back, resulting in an open wound and a permanent 6x2-inch scar. Three out of the six days of my vacation were ruined because I was in pain and dealing with an untreated, bleeding wound caused directly by the hotel’s negligence. The walkways and stairs around the rooms are extremely slick—especially with even a trace of sunscreen or rain—which makes them a major slipping hazard. To make matters worse, the management’s response was completely inadequate. I was handed a couple of bandages and wraps and sent on my way. They showed little concern for the injury or my well-being and promised to follow up—yet I’ve heard nothing since. This kind of neglect is unacceptable. I strongly caution future guests to be extremely careful if you choose to stay here—or better yet, consider booking somewhere else entirely. Your safety may depend on it.

Security Issues

The room itself met our needs for our stay and the beds were extremely comfortable. The outdoor shower on the sidewalk coming back from the beach is worthless. However, the main issue we had was that the first day housekeeping came while we were out and when we got back the door wasnt fully closed. I let the front desk know but the second day it happened again. Due to the lack of attention to security and safe keeping of our belongings, we will not be returning.

We stayed for 3 nights/4 days. Property location is great. Beach access very convenient. Breakfast was plenty. Rooms were spacious. Clean when we arrived. Then it went downhill. Housekeeping wasn’t efficient. Our room wasn’t cleaned even at end of day 2 until I called front desk. Disappointed

The walkway to the ocean was so convenient and accessible. The beds were comfortable and clean. There was a water leak from the AC that pooled onto the balcony but not bad. They had a clear sign to be careful on the door. It didn’t hinder the beautiful view!

Paper thin walls, you can hear every conversation from the neighbors. The water pressure on the outdoor showers near the beach is so bad it’s impossible to actually get the sand off of you. The rooms are dark and dingy. The location is great, and the pools were nice. Overall though we won’t be returning.
