This house has a lot of maintenance issues that need addressed. The smaller shower was useless, it only sprays a fine mist. The larger shower has a leak near the shower head. There is a leak under the sink and it smelled very moldy under there. We had to empty the pan collecting water. Also, some little things would go a long way such as making sure the soap in the dispenser is full and replace the cheap single ply toilet paper with something better. We would have also have appreciated access to extra paper towels and trash bags. There is not enough kitchen supplies either. You need to add a nice pan to cook stuff in and perhaps a cookie sheet, plus more utensils such as tongs.

Close walk to beach. Perfect for what we needed.

Property owners were quick to respond. Linens provided but would recommend folks take their own beach towels and wash clothes. Property very clean.

Great Spot

We really enjoyed this place, a short walk to the beach. The house was super clean and the host was very helpful and always available when needed. I would definitely recommend this house.

Great Location, house need work

Perfect location to the beach! Definitely within walking distance as it’s one block from public beach access. The main safety concern is there is a hole at the end of the walkway in the backyard where a broken rusty pipe is not very visible but could easily cause injury. The house also needs some work as the screens are torn or not even attached to the house. Exterior and interior doors stick. Wood decking and stairs need repair as well as nails are popping up creating tripping hazards. There is a new grill that was great for dinners, but unfortunately there were not any grill items- no grill brush to clean it, or tongs or spatula for cooking. There are plastic utensils inside for cooking but the kitchen was barely stocked. Only 2 small pans and a few pots. No can opener No mixing bowl No measuring cups dry or wet No baking sheet No ice trays to make ice as the refrigerator ice maker does not work. Additionally, there was not enough amenities. The house says it sleeps 7, but only 6 chairs for the table inside and 4 for the table outside. There was not enough seating to watch TV on the few rainy days we had, maybe only 5 on the couches. There was not enough bowls and only enough plates for one meal so the dishwasher had to be run after every meal. The house has great potential! The owners were very responsive and replied to me when I let them know about a leak in the kitchen sink. Hopefully they repair it soon as there were signs of this being an issue for sometime.

Such a great location & great hosts!! Beautiful home & very clean. Easy couple minute walk to the beach that makes it super convenient to make multiple trips to the beach throughout the day. Loved the front deck! The hosts were very responsive & so helpful! We had to book this property last minute due to a different rental being canceled 1 hour prior to checkin after a 9 hour drive. The hosts of this rental were so helpful and willing to work with us to get us into this property unexpectedly at last minute. After our stay, I’m thankful the first rental fell through.

We loved your home. Thank you for sharing your home with us for our stay at the beach. Your home had all the necessary amenities that satisfied our requirements. The lock needs some oiling as it gave us some difficult time locking and unlocking the home. Some screen replacement will be great too.Apart from that we enjoyed our time at the house.

Classic Cottage/Great Upgrades

Loved the solid timeless feel of the older style cottage (like my childhood) but with modern renovations: freshly painted, bright and airy, new appliances. I was a little concerned because I couldn't find photos of the bedrooms but they were beautifully done with comfortable beds and stylish new bedding/furniture. New grill on backyard patio, comfy seating on the front deck that is high enough to catch a constant ocean breeze. Plenty of room, well stocked kitchen and dining area. We would definitely recommend this rental and look forward to staying again in the future.

Fantastic week at OBX!

We found this house that met all our vacation needs. Easy 2 min walk to beach. We could not hear the noise & crowds on HWY 12 either. Rooms were clean. Kitchen was spacious & ideal for our family to gather in. 3 tv sets for everyone. Nice laundry machines. Deck was fitting to watch sunrises. Neighborhood was friendly. All in all...price was right and we didnt want to leave. I recommend it 100%

The property was very neand clean. But the pictures on the verbal app did not do it. Any Justice recommend that the owner Post more pictures in the app of the inside of the property as well as the outside of property to give paint a more accurate picture of what the place looks like versus what he has out there currently. The property manager only left 2 Towels and one face clock out for us. To shower with, we have to go to the Dollar Tree and buy a pack of 5 face towels So we can have facetowels for each of us to Shower with. Also, there were no shades or curtains on the front door window and. Door jam windows Add kitchen window. Anyone walking up on the deck can see in the house? You had to make sure you were fully dressed if you came outside of the room. I did look at the property on Zillow and saw that the property was purchased in 2022 And it was refurbish the owner did a good job refurbishing it. Overall location was good. And the price was fair.
