This lovely 3,000 sq. ft. Post & Beam home is situated on a private 5 acre homestead in Killington, VT.

The open floor plan features solid oak timber framing, towering cathedral ceilings and oversized windows which seems to pull the natural surroundings indoors.

The spacious yard overlooks a stream fed pond suitable for swimming or relaxing in the sun. There is an outdoor fire pit in the upper yard area for cozy evening gatherings during the summer months.

Don't forget your golf clubs! The property has a 120 yard practice hole you can use to sharpen your short game. When you'r ready to play 18, Green Mountain National, Vermont's No.1 rated public golf course is only .75 miles from the house.

Only 8 miles from Killington Resort & Pico ski areas, the house is perfect for small private getaways or larger group gatherings.

This was truly a wonderful place to have a Thanksgiving get together. The house was amazing with plenty of seating, spacious rooms with an open concept on the main floor. The property was beautiful with birch trees and a pond visible from the front of the house. The host John was very responsive to any questions we had and made sure to contact us in reference to a potential weather situation and what to do regarding it. I highly recommend this property if you are looking to do any winter sports in the area as Killington Ski Area is very close.Summer looks very inviting as well. Loved it and it felt like home while we were there.

We chose this location to celebrate with family and remember our childhood memories of going on vacation to Vermont. It was everything both young adults and their families wanted. The children loved sharing a bedroom. Everyone got along. The property was amazing. We had several fire pits. Everything was explained. And the owner checked in with us several times during our stay just to make sure everything was going well. I can't recommend this place enough. Everyone wants to come back. Close to Killington Adventure park, Hathaway Farm, Mad Hatters Ice cream, President Coolidge Site, hiking, fishing and so much more!

Ideal house for a mountain getaway. Clean, well-maintained, beautifully located and perfectly equipped, this home offers it all. We enjoyed smores around the campfire, cards on the expansive kitchen table and exploring the local trails. Highly recommend.

Perfect for a Summer MTB Trip.

House is located between the Sherburne & Green Mountain Trailheads, which was great for us.Also, having access to the garage was ideal for us to work on and store our bikes.And I won't stay anywhere in the summer without a/c, it worked well. Rarity it these parts...

Family week at Killington/Pico

There were 9 of us. Six adults & 3 children, 13, 9, & 5. We were all happy with the house. It was clean & well stocked. The rooms were comfortable and there was plenty of space in the kitchen/dining area & the living room was spacious & comfortable. Communication with the owner was outstanding.

Bucket List Ski Trip House

Second time renting at this estate, and there's a reason we came back. Beautiful house, better location. Everything you can ask for in a ski house rental. The layout of the house is second to none, the drive to Killington and Pico are 5 minutes if that. The area is perfect for family and friends to get together and enjoy their vacation. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Beautiful!

House was spacious, clean, and in a beautiful area. You can tell that it’s geared more toward winter tourism, but the area and home were great for a summer visit anyways - just bear in mind that not every room has air conditioning. (It wasn’t a problem for our trip). The property manager was quick to respond to inquiries and pleasant in our interactions. Would definitely recommend to friends.

What a great house! We had a large group staying while we participated in an event at Pico. It was perfect for us. Close to the mountain, lots of room, inside and out. John was a wonderful host, very attentive and responsive. Thank you for a memorable weekend!

A group of us guys have come to Killington every year for the last 6 years, always staying in a rental. This place is very spacious, however I would caution anyone interest. Upon opening the front door you met with a musty smell of an animal. The skylight above the kitchen table has mold on it. There were multiple piles of dog feces on the front deck. A think layer of dust on the fans in the bedrooms. The description states that the property is ten minutes away from Killington resort, when in actuality it’s closer to 20 minutes. If I would have known the actual distance I may have sought something out a little closer to the town. Beds did not have sheets on them, there were sheets in the closet
.however after paying as much money as I did to rent the place, I feel like that is an inconvenience.

Killington family ski trip

Great location to ski Killington. Loved the wood burning stove, and use of the garage was a plus since we have some bad weather. Lots of space to spread out along three floors. Host was very helpful.

A Great Retreat

The families of our two children, 8 people altogether, stayed for 5 nights and found the house spacious, comfortable and well-stocked. It suited us all perfectly. We made a few fun visits to the nearby town recreation center for swimming and pickle ball. The host was very communicative and welcoming.

Plenty of space for a large family or 2 family's

The property was set in the woods and it was beautiful. The hosue is perfect for 2 familys, or 1 large family. Plenty of space for everyone. I house needs a little tlc in some areas and we wish the yard was mowed so we could have enjoyed the back yard more
