Disliked: Cleanliness
I am rating this as Ok as the owner himself is very responsive and accomodating. Feedback and images of the state of the accomodation has been provided directly with the owner for them to take up and manage.several aspects of internal cleanliness were missed prior to our arrival and the cleaner confiming she was there earlier in the week and fobbing the uncleaniness to it being hard to keep a country property clean. I appreciate this given I too live in regional victoria, but the house was not cleaned prior to arriving and :- Carpets were not vacuumed in some sections.- Skirting boards throughout the house were dusty had not been cleaned.- Furniture in the living area was dusty.- The air fryer contained food remnants from previous occupants.- The oven still had used greaseproof paper inside (I did show this to the cleaner, however she missed it again so we did this ourselves)- The kitchen lacked basic utensils - no wine opener, no serving paltters- Under the sink was disgustingly dirty (I did show this to the cleaner at the time)- The fridge and freezer had not been cleaned.- Window frames contained bugs.- The ceiling fan in the toilet had not been cleaned.- The faucet in the guest bathroom downstairs was not attached properly.- Curtains in all bedrooms were off the rails and could not be closed properly.- In the front bedroom with the double bed, the ceiling fan was missing tape, leaving the room infested with mosquitos at night.
