Unique hotel in the heart of Kimberley. Great on site amenities (fabulous continental breakfast, 24/7 complimentary refreshments, indoor and outdoor seating areas and outdoor sauna). Plus so close to all shops, pubs and restaurants. Loved our stay !!!

This is one of the cutest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are well-equipped and clean, and the ambiance of the common areas is so charming. It’s right next to the little downtown area of Kimberley for shopping and restaurants. 10/10

Breakfast was nice but there was no staff member to help w anything. There was a kid on hia phone in the hallway who it turned out was staff. But its a basic breakfast, so people managed just fine.

This is a great property in a refurbished older building executed with noticeable care and an eye for details. I want to give it a 5, but can’t. 5 challenges of the stay: noisy. Both nights. Noise from the front desk, from the ‘living room’ below us, and from a garage property on the back street. The walls are thin. We were in 204. The lack of closet in the room The tub is dangerously slippery when you use body wash. The body wash smells great though. Since there is no daily room servicing, you need more than the 2 bath towels if you wash your hair like I do The room was quite small without a place to sit 5 things Larix is exceptional on: The warmth of the welcome and friendliness of the staff The bed. Very comfortable! The complementary snack bar. 2 nights and 5 big cookies… I was developing a ‘habit’ The gracious complimentary continental breakfast in the stunning breakfast room The decor and cleanliness We would stay again.
