Situated a short walk from the heart of Kings Beach, you'll find vacation perfection at this 5BR/4BA home! A convenient location near ski resorts and sandy beaches ensures outdoor fun in any season. Alfresco entertainment awaits at home in the private backyard. Soak in the hot tub or relax in the shade of the gazebo.

Inside, upscale mountain decor creates the inviting warmth of a luxury cabin. Highlights include a gourmet kitchen, a gas fireplace, and a sun-lit two-story floor plan.

LIVING AREAS

Snuggle up on plush furnishings by the gas fireplace in the first living area after a day of mountain fun. A collection of books and a 42in TV offer evening entertainment.

The second living area is outfitted with a large sectional. Stream movies on the 42in smart TV or set up a board game at the table for four.

KITCHEN & DINING

Home chefs will love the modern kitchen, appointed with high-end stainless steel appliances. Other highlights include granite countertops and a coffee bar with a Keurig. Sip drinks at the island bar for two as dinner simmers.

Share home-cooked meals at the table for ten-twelve in the dining area (extra chairs in the Living Room closet).

BEDROOMS & BATHS

This home sleeps up to 12 guests in five bedrooms.

Find quiet privacy in the master suite, furnished with a plush king-size bed. The en-suite bathroom boasts a sparkling walk-in shower.

The second bedroom holds a twin-size bed and a queen-size bed. The second bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination.

The third bedroom features a twin-size bed and a twin-over-full bunk bed, while the fourth bedroom has a queen-size bed and a twin-size bed. The third bathroom offers a tub/shower combination.

Sleep soundly on a queen-size bed in the fifth bedroom. The fourth bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower.

OUTDOOR AREAS

The screened sunroom is a peaceful retreat on quiet afternoons. Sip coffee at the bistro table for two.

The large fenced backyard features a private hot tub and gazebo patio. Barbecue tasty alfresco meals on the gas grill.

EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS

Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and driveway parking for four cars (street parking is not permitted).

This home does not have air-conditioning, but air-conditioning is rarely needed at 6200'; there are fans available.

Outdoor wood-burning fires and charcoal grills are prohibited per local ordinances (gas grills ok).

THE LOCATION

Walk 500 yards from your door to the cobalt-blue Lake Tahoe waters at Kings Beach State Recreation Area. In the evenings, stroll along North Lake Blvd to discover local eateries and live music in the summer.

For a day on the slopes, drive 8 miles to Northstar Resort or 15 miles to Diamond Peak.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Family Fun

What a great place to stay with families that have small children. It’s in a perfect location. The kids loved the nice big fenced yard. The house was very well stocked. There was never a time I couldn’t find what I needed. The furnishings are a little dated but was okay. I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful family home! All the appliances worked, the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, and the back yard was large and fenced. This was a perfect home for our family of 12. The bedrooms (5) and the bathrooms (4) worked perfectly for our large family. A big plus is that it is within walking distance of the beach. One thing that was unfortunate was the master bedroom bed. It was very uncomfortable with a "mattress topper". It was difficult for my husband and I to get in and out of it. Over all, I would highly recommend this home! Thank you! We loved it and had a wonderful time!

we had a number of issues with this rental. the main one being that VRBO re-sells a turnkey property and turnkey simply sucks: (1) they harrass you with emails and phone calls, (2) they dont accept early check-in and late check-out, even when they make mistakes, (3) the house was not cleaned at check-in (see below). In addition, the house has cameras that watch you (one in entrance, one near the jaccusi). The hous eis comfortable and ideal with kids. However, the internet did not work and I had to reconnect all wires. The house trash cans were not empty, and there were dog hairs everywhere (inclusing in bedrooms). quite amazing when turnkey had me call to commit not to bring a pet. in summary, everything under turnkey responsability was wrong and despite they finished cleaning the house 3 hours after check-in, they had us leave at 10am! the cameras in a rental property are also wrong, unless announced at rental time.

very accommodating

The home easily accommodates a group of adults. the four full bathrooms was a huge plus. the living spaces (bathrooms, bedrooms, living room) were comfortable. The kitchen and even the beverage cabinet were adequately stocked and included all the amenities needed to support a variety of activities. high points for attention to issues once notified As a practice we perform a walk-through before fully occupying the property. thirty years of experience visiting Tahoe has evolved some necessary routines. A couple of minor discoveries like a loose towel rack, displaced piece of wood, and slow draining sink triggered a prompt visit from property management. Jason the maintenance person, friendly, professional, and thorough; knowledgeable, and shared helpful insight about the area Also the good humored local person who plows snow from driveways with his backhoe tractor conveniently arrived to clear the parking spaces. A report of noise issues was 'curious'; the home is centered in the middle of a large plot, the neighbors aren't close, and there's no music system. our group gathered in the dinning/kitchen area the entire time. conversations were barely audible between the first and second levels suggestion: add a pool table to the upstairs family room. replace the long sectional with a sofa half the size. instant enhancement

Overall, very nice facility and location. Only issues: no (obvious) snow shovel to clear off access to the jacuzzi or walkways; and dishwasher does not work well and the upper tray needs fixing.

Great Property and Location!

The home is beautiful, the yard is spacious and great, and it is within walking distance to everything in Kings Beach. Something to note that we weren't aware of is that there is no AC so if you get one of the hot summer weeks it will be uncomfortable. Thankfully there aren't many of those in Tahoe. Also, one of the days the water was turned off all day long which was a huge inconvenience for 9 adults and a baby but again that's not their fault, just wish we had known. I would highly recommend this home to rent!

The home has 5 bedrooms, many with multiple beds, allowing for lots of people and configurations. The kitchen is wonderful and well supplied. We loved using the fireplace on chilly mornings.

Perfect house for large groups in North Lake Tahoe

Stayed at this fantastic property from 12/1 to 12/3 with a dozen or so friends. Plenty of room upstairs and downstairs. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, modern and very clean. All of the amenities taken care of (bedding, towels, bathroom goods). Awesome area to hang out downstairs with a large open kitchen (also super well stocked) that opened up onto a dining area and living area all in one big space - perfect for group hangouts and big family style dinners. Outdoor area was also great, though we mainly stuck to the hot tub given the weather. Perfect location in Kings Beach - walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in the area. Short drive to all the attractions on the North Side. Highly recommend.
