The Lazy Bear Lodge - 3 bedroom cabin w/lake views! - Kings Beach

Welcome to your quiet getaway where you are close enough to walk to the lake and restaurants but far enough away to enjoy the tranquility. This 3-bedroom, 2-bath is located in Kings Beach, CA and is perfect for weekend getaways or longer visits with not one, but two designated work spaces to utilize.
This home offers filtered lake views with a cozy cabin feel. Please note the inside staircase is narrow and steep but the downstairs guests can easily bring in their luggage from the second entry off the driveway.

The home is two stories with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs). Guests will need to climb about 14 stairs to gain access to the main entry. Like most Tahoe homes, it has its quirks - inside there is a narrow and steep stairway (see pictures) that connects the upstairs and downstairs so please be sure to use the handrails. Once initial access has been made, guests will have access to a downstairs entry which can be used to bring in luggage for the two downstairs bedrooms. The third bedroom is upstairs. The kitchen, living room and dining room are also located upstairs. Because our home is two stories, we ask that you be mindful when booking if there is someone in your group who has difficulty going up and down stairs.

**Bear Security System
Due to the high bear population, we have installed a bear security system in our home. While we have not experienced any bear break-ins, these precautions are in place to ensure your safety.

**For security and guest safety, there are security cameras on the outside of the house covering the 3 entries. There are also carbon monoxide alarms and smoke alarms.

**Kindly be aware that the residence is situated in a wooded area, serving as a habitat for various wildlife and insects, such as spiders and ants. While we engage the services of a pest control company for our home, the natural surroundings make it challenging to ensure complete freedom from insects. Despite our proactive efforts, we cannot guarantee the absence of insects within or around the property. We kindly request that you refrain from leaving windows and doors open to minimize the likelihood of insect presence.

**Due to the unpredictable nature of weather in Lake Tahoe and the potential for unforeseen circumstances, we strongly advise you to consider purchasing travel insurance. This additional measure is recommended to safeguard your investment in the vacation, as refunds cannot be provided beyond the scope of the applicable cancellation policy.
