Good secure garden for our dogs with plenty of seating but quite a long walk to the local beach alon
Good secure garden for our dogs with plenty of seating but quite a long walk to the local beach along a busy lane without an adequate footpath and too far to walk into Snettisham. The bungalow itself was very modern and clean but odd lounge layout.

Great accommodation, clean and well equipped to a high standard.
Great accommodation, clean and well equipped to a high standard. Please look beyond any negative comments on other reviews they are really petty minor things !! Decent sized secure garden ideal for dogs. Summer house a great addition to relax and unwind.Great local dog walks to the Beach or nearby Ken Hill woods. Sandringham is nearby and well worth a visit. The Lodge Hotel at Old Hunstanton is excellent for a meal and very dog friendly. Great holiday accommodation 😀

We have had a very enjoyable week at Sands Cottage.
We have had a very enjoyable week at Sands Cottage. It was perfect for the two of us and our dog, Chester. Plenty of walking from the door and loads to do in the area even though the summer season is over.I make the following observations not as a criticism in any way, just observations that could improve the property.Kitchen - very 'Grand Designs'! Coffee maker excellent. 1 fridge and 1 freezer would be better. Oven needs cleaning. Dishwasher needs salt / rinse aid but none available. Plenty of tablets though- thank you.Fridge with ice box needs defrosting. Poor selection of glasses unless you like prosecco. Only 1 glass tumbler and 2 mismatched wine glasses. A number of items of china have chips.Only 4 knives and forks - plenty of spoons. Good selection of sharp knives.Cookware satisfactory for our needs.Living Space - Furniture is good and the bed comfortable for us. Clothing storage ok once we realised that it was behind the dining table. Loved the ceiling speaker system.Bathroom - loo seat loose and there was no shower gel and little shampoo. Very nice shower and warmthThe information booklet needs updating. it refers to the heating / hot water system on a dial by the wood burner which doesn't exist and there are no instructions for the electric heaters or bathroom heating. We did however work these out.The booklet mentions bins for rubbish and recycling but there are none. Being there for a week rubbish cannot be stored in the under sink cupboard. The outside cabin is lovely and we made good use of that and the garden furniture. Grass now needs cutting and the garden area could use a good tidy up both front and back. The tumble dryer is not working so should be removed from the facilities unless it is fixed as new guests might be expecting to use this now that autumn is here. There is a very dilapidated clothes airer rack that we managed to make use of - a new one would be very useful.
