Sleeping six in three bedrooms, this gorgeous retreat boasts two bathrooms and is perfect for families or couples who want to stay somewhere truly coastal. The kitchen really does have everything you need and has been equipped to a very high standard and there is also a lovely, enclosed garden to enjoy too. The addition of a multi-fuel burner in the living room makes this property the perfect choice whatever the season.

Beach lovers should head to Heacham’s wide, sandy beach and explore the rolling sand dunes. Enjoy blustery beach walks and wild swimming. Or if the sun is shining build some sandcastles, paddle or top up that tan. Heacham beach is just perfect for all of this and is considered by locals to be one of the best in the area.

Drive east from here and you will discover a treasure trove of coastal habitats from stripy cliffs to pretty little creeks and harbours, and from salt and clay marshes to picturesque quays, with boats bobbing on the tide. It is all here waiting for you to come and discover it.

Of course, the area is simply packed with historical sites too. Visit Castle Acre or Castle Rising, make time to take in the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn and head to the Houghton, Holkham and Sandringham Estates, maybe enjoying one of their many events and exhibitions. There is so much wildlife in the area too there are great RSPB sites in the area including Titchwell and Snettisham Marshes, which are both within easy reach. Add in some great golf courses, wonderful walks and super cycle routes too and you’ll soon discover why so many people fall in love with this incredible area. And having worked up a great appetite you will be delighted to find that there are lots of great eating out options to suit all tastes and pockets. All in all, a fabulous choice for your break. We stayed with our children in August 2024. We had a lovely stay we really enjoyed the out door area and all the games were a lovely extra. it really was a home away from home. Our 3 year old also left his much loved cuddle comforter as the lovely owner kindly looked for it and posted it back to us! Thank you for a lovely 4 days the area is lovely too with lots to do. Very nice little terraced cottage on a quiet road with easy on road parking.

Very nice little terraced cottage on a quiet road with easy on road parking. Cottage is well appointed, very well equipped kitchen, lovely deep bath on first floor bathroom. Nice log burner, nice to have Sky TV and welcome dog treats on arrival. Downstairs shower/toilet as well.Back garden and front are secure for dogs, gate on road to stop dogs running out house straight onto road.Stairs inside house narrow as befits age and style of construction but steep in places.
