Cozy Lakefront Cottage

Lakefront cottage on Watts Bar Lake. Beautiful sunsets from the two story dock. We are 20 minutes south of Kingston and 10 minutes north of Blue Spring Marina. The dock has an upper deck and there is a large fire pit in the back yard. A large screened in porch is next to an outdoor cooking area with a smoker and a gas grill. The kitchen has premium appliances for those who like to cook. Two bedrooms have in-suite baths

Nice home with good layout.

Nice property. Pictures are out of date with outside of home. Landscape is overgrown so if you have a large vehicle or boat you unlikely will be able to use the driveway. Hosts were very nice but didn't seem to mind the tree 3/4 of the way over the driveway impeading use of it. Also, not their fault, but the street is not accommodating for a large tow vehicle to turn around. If you're not boating, it is a wonderful house. Also dock to channel is 6-10ft deep if you wanted to know.

Relaxing retreat

Some co-workers and I stayed here while working 6 days a week and 12 hours a day. This property was the perfect place to be on a day off. The appliances take a minute to learn if you're not used to the upgraded lifestyle but instructions left by the owners made things much easier.

The VRBO photos are pretty but do not do the property justice. Much more beautiful upon arrival! Beautiful, peaceful, accommodating. Owners are close and so helpful. All the extras and lots of small details make this absolutely wonderful. We will return for sure.

Peaceful, recharging getaway

Our family had a fabulous time at this beautiful lake home! Hours were spent each day in the huge screened in porch - reading, eating meals, and playing games. The dock was perfect with a safe cove to float in without a care, canoe and explore the osprey nest nearby, and bring a rented boat for the day. The awning on the dock was a great addition to provide shade and extend our time by the water. The home itself and the landscaping on the property is just beautiful and you quickly feel at home. It was hard to leave. Many thanks to Steve and Victoria for creating and sharing such a welcoming space and for the excellent communication and availability. We would highly recommend this property!

Local Family Vacation

This Knoxville three-generation family thoroughly enjoyed our days here. In reality, the listing underplays the amenities. The spacious architecture and grounds are subtly impressive and the indoor kitchen and outdoor grills more than amply equipped. When not dining, we spent most of the day on the dock that has plenty of seating and an awning. We also day-rented a pontoon boat for our dock at a nearby marina to enjoy the beauty of Watts Bar Lake. We greatly enjoyed the quiet inlet using the included canoe and our paddle board, floats, kayak, and fishing gear. The lawn was ample for teenage ball games and we closed the day around the burning logs in the large fire pit.

Wonderful, peaceful, house perfect for the family getaway.

What a perfect place to escape the everyday grind! Our family met up at the house to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful time. Everything from the house, appliances, grills, porch, fire pit, and boat dock were perfect. We rented a boat from Blue Springs Marina and the boat dock was perfect to pull in for a quick lunch or break. The porch was also perfect for us to gather in the evenings and play games. The owner, Steve, went out of his way to ensure we had the perfect stay. He was only a phone call away and very responsive. The pound cake he brought over was delicious also! We can't wait to return in the future. Thank you!

Loved this lake house!

We had a perfect weekend at the lake house. We celebrated my sister’s 50th birthday fishing, relaxing, and enjoying the house. Steve left us a beautiful cake and champagne to add to our celebration. We highly recommend this property. Nothing disappointed us.

HEAVEN!

Lets start with the yummy pound cake! OMG! The house is on a beautiful street with a beautiful yard that you just walk down to the lake. The screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee and game night. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen so well equipped. We wanted for nothing. Very nice rental and we hope to come back again. Victoria and Steve were so welcoming and if you want there are some cool cars Steve will show you if you are a car enthusiast. Wonderful house! Clean, well furnished, and on the water. The owners were fantastic! Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels and linens. Screened porch was perfect for relaxing and coffee. The dock is incredible - plenty of shade and sun. Very private cove made for the perfect relaxing vacation!

Everything we needed!

Everything was on point for what was advertised. The owners took the time to check in and make sure we knew where everything was and how to use them. Outdoor space would be wonderful if you get good weather. Nice road to take walks and just relax. Very nice that shampoo , soap, and hair dryer were provided in each bathroom.
