Pros-great location. Close to shops, restaurants, Kingston Penitentiary tour. Price was great compared to other nearby hotels. It was clean. No trouble finding parking. Cons-incredibly noisy, people slamming their doors closed maybe some weather stripping to soften up the door slamming, bed was sunken in and extremely uncomfortable, sleep was not easy at this hotel, it appears as if you can control your room temperature but you can’t the room was so hot. Breakfast was not my favourite we were told it was u like any other hotel yet it was similar to any breakfast I have had at other hotels nothing spectacular. Didn’t bother attending breakfast on day two. Overall if you are looking to save money and don’t mind a no frills type go for it. If you are looking for more pay more and stay at a different place. I stayed two nights and loved the city would have stayed longer but not here.

The property is very good condition, even if It looks like old building. Room is clean, the space of room and bed are comfortable for wheelchair. Also, staff are friendly as well as breakfast is amazing in variety and quality.

Over all we had a good stay. The first night was really quiet, but then a conference came in and we could hear people beside us and above us. It was quite noisy. The mattress was too soft not sure when they were changed out last. The other thing was that the hallways and the rooms did not smell good. There was a very notable odour, especially in the hallway. It smells like old university dormitories. The breakfast that is included was quite nice and the staff are very friendly. Overall, the grounds are beautiful (we took advantage of using the outside courtyard ) and the stay generally was good for what we needed. However for the price, the smell the poor mattress I won’t be booking there again.
