Lake View Chalet - Oak Ridge, Knoxville Melton Hill Lake Fishing Boating Rowing

A cozy and inviting Tennessee retreat with a breathtaking view over a quaint small marina and Melton Hill Lake. This Oak Ridge home is close to outdoor activities with a convenient location very near the Rowing Center for local rowing competitions and Haw Ridge park for mountain bike and walking trails. The Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Y-12 complex is located nearby so please stay with us for any work related events. Several museums are in the local area. The home is also convenient to Wind Rock Mountain, UT, Knoxville and Oliver Springs. The place you are looking for to relax and unwind on the spacious deck, cook up a feast on the grill and enjoy the sunset. Perfect for a romantic escape or for family time. Enjoy free wifi to stay connected and access to YouTube TV or log in to your favorite viewing apps. A second smaller unit, the Lake View Loft, is located upstairs accessed by a separate entrance, and can be booked independently. This property is part of a small local marina at the lower section of the property but does not have a retail store just an ice machine. We are adding four new small cabins to be open Spring of 2024.

Amazing river view vacation rental!
Everything about this vacation rental was amazing from the beautiful river views to the newly remodeled and decorated interior. We slept well as it was so quiet and peaceful. We will definitely stay again !

Incredible experience!
This stay exceeded our expectations on every level. The home was more beautiful than the pictures…from the minute you walk in there is just a wonderful overall feeling, especially as you walk toward the back door and see the amazing views over the lake. They spared no expense with every little detail inside the home as far as decor, comfort, and every little thing you might need for a stay. Not to mention, the host was incredibly communicative, and answered all of my questions almost immediately. Including renting us a pontoon boat so that I could take my family out on the lake at a VERY reasonable rate. I can honestly say I have never been so satisfied with booking a VRBO. We will definitely be back and stay again!!
