Big Ponderosa is our 3500+ sq. ft. 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom log cabin located on a gated 16 acres of woods & pasture. You have it all here. Peace and quiet? Check. Private hot tub, sauna, and 3 fireplaces? Yup. Walking trails, bass fishing pond, horseshoe pits, and a tetherball pole? Oh, yes!

The living room w/85" TV, dining room, kitchen, game room w/wet bar, and half bath w/ washer and dryer are on the main floor. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes a dishwasher, cooking utensils, Keurig, and drip coffee machines, a griddle, spices and seasonings, cooking oil, flour, and sugar. Everything to prepare gourmet meals is at your fingertips.

The awesome game room with a wet bar, foosball, arcade game, and 55" TV is perfect for watching the game or just hanging out.

The 2nd floor has the Master bedroom with an electric woodstove and TV, a massive log King bed with a new mattress, an ensuite bathroom with a shower, and a private sauna and yoga room. The second bedroom with a log queen bed and another bathroom is also upstairs, as is a workspace with a desk.

The walk-out basement has the 3rd and 4th bedrooms, a fireplace, and a full bathroom with a tub and shower. Bedroom 3 has a log queen bed, and bedroom 4 has a twin/full bunk bed, fireplace, and a great seating area with a futon, massive bean bag and TV. The private hot tub is located outside the walk-out basement door, overlooking the pond. The cabin has multiple smart TVs, some with Roku devices and all with YouTube TV, and the wifi is excellent throughout.

Enjoy deer, birds, turkeys, and squirrels with a morning cup of coffee or evening beverage while sitting on the deck with ceiling fans, or in your private hot tub. How about grilling a steak on the outdoor grill in the covered pavilion? Snuggle up with one of the 3 toasty electric fireplaces on a cold evening. Enjoy walks on the beautiful 16 acres of fenced grounds with tall oaks and hayfields while admiring the abundant wildlife. How about a bonfire out back by the pond? Or throw a line into the catch-and-release stocked bass pond with a fountain. Fishing is seasonal & catching fish will be reduced in colder months. We also provide shared access to horseshoe pits, a tetherball pole, and a cornhole in our outdoor game and trail area. Or grab a book and find a secret hammock in the woods to relax.

The best feature of this cabin is its amazing location to what matters to you! When it is time to go to work or to play, you are only minutes from all the shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and hospitals in Knoxville. 14 mins to UTK, Neyland Stadium, and the convention center & 12 minutes to the airport. Dollywood and the Great Smoky Mountains are about 45 minutes away. Preapproved pets are charged $25 per pet per day. Easy Uber ride to the airport or to the entertainment in Knoxville. Rent another cabin on the same property for a family reunion!!

We supply our guests with at least a week's worth of hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, paper towels, and toilet paper to allow our guests time to settle in without being rushed to make a grocery store visit. Once these items run out, it is the guest's responsibility to replenish them for personal use. Generally, the hand soap and dish soap will last your entire stay.

We do not provide maid or cleaning services during your stay. Guests are expected to maintain a good level of cleanliness. Cleaning service can be requested for a reasonable fee.

Please let us know if the grill runs out of gas. We will refill at no charge to guests. Firewood for the firepit is not supplied. It can be collected on-site in the woods or purchased from local vendors.
