We enjoyed our stay at the Villas by Weekender due to how central the resort is to all the action of Lamai Beach. Once you walk out of the resort you're in the middle of everything with lots to see and due all within walking distance. The great thing is that while you're on the property itself, it's very quiet and you don't get all the noise from the street. Our bungalow was comfortable and the staff were very quick to fix a small repair required to our toilet. The only complaint we had was that the lighting in the bathroom was really dim. The food at the restaurant was pretty good but the breakfast buffet could use a little bit more variety. The breakfast buffet was good and tasty, it just got a bit boring as the menu didn't change daily. We would stay here again for the convenience and overall quality of the accomodations for the price.

Stayed at Weekender Resort 12/25-12/31/2023 after last minute booking to meet friends. Glad we did. The overall stay was pleasant except 2 things 1)Stingy on toilet papers. We get back from excursion late into the night and housecleaning rarely replenish toilet papers. We ended up buying a 4pc pack at 7/11 for backup 2)The attendant at breakfast buffet was rude to my friend who happened to pass by jogging on the beach, stopped by and chatted, had 3 pieces of fruits and the lady started raising her voice. Instead of yelling, I would have been happy to pay for additional plate. My friend left after being yelled at. With the money we paid for, having extra pieces of fruits being eaten should be paid for plenty. Other than that, the place is clean. It did smelled like mildew when we first checked in because it wasn't AC and the whole place was probably closed up in the heat & humidity for some time. I have allergy to mildew and dust mites and it took me a couple of days to get over it, thank God.

Ok but could be Great

Third time trying to review property...all good except breakfast buffet. Food was cold and not fresh. It was close to end of time for buffet so it was like they didn’t care if came for late breakfast you got the scraps. Everything else was good.

Bodde i Deluxe Villa som var trevlig, bra storlek och rent. Poolområde och strand var helt ok. Frukosten var samma varje dag och utbudet var lite snålt. Sammanfattningsvis var vår vistelse bra och skulle gärna boka igen om vi åker tillbaka till Lamai Beach.

Schöne Zeit am schönen Strand

Die Poolvilla war der Hammer !!! Besser geht kaum. Das Frühstück war überschaubar aber landestypisch gut. Die Lage des Restaurants direkt am Strand ist perfekt. Die Mitarbeiter waren stets äußerst freundlich und engagiert. Die Lage des Hotels mitten in Lamai war für abendliches Bummeln perfekt. Wir können das Wohnen, wie wir es gebucht hatten, bestens empfehlen. Wenn für uns wieder Lamai infrage kommt, dann dort.
