Sustainable ecolodge at Lauwersmeer National Park and Wadden Sea

The Ecolodge is a special accommodation on a mound in the middle of the meadows of Friesland against the Lauwersmeer. Here you are close to the Wadden Sea and eleven cities of Dokkum and Kollum. Staying overnight in this sustainable house is not only good for your ecological footprint, but it is also a fantastic experience.

Layout:
The ecolodge is 35m2 in size and offers 4 sleeping places. Nature is very close by because of the large windows at the front and rear. At the same time, the warm wood provides a sense of security. There are two double beds above each other and possibly there is a sofa bed. The ecolodge has its own toilet, shower, heating, TV and a kitchen with full inventory. Because of the heating you can stay comfortable and cozy in the winter.

Facilities:
It is possible to rent bicycles for 5 euros per bicycle per day. A bicycle trailer for small children can also be rented. There is a washing machine and free wireless internet (WiFi) available. Close to the campsite is our cozy, covered stove area with comfortable lounge cushions. Here you can enjoy the day after a warm fire.

Terrain:
The ecolodge is surrounded by nature with a south-facing terrace with breathtaking cloudy skies. On site there is plenty of room for (small) children with a sandpit, water playground, playground, trampoline, table tennis table (inside and outside) and go-karts. Here is real peace as the ecolodge is located on a nature campsite with a meadow bird area and at the end of a dead end road. Outside the English fence there is another path to 2 Canadian canoes and 2 kayaks for a nice trip to Kollum.
