Other things to note
Poipu is located on the dryer side of Kauai with fabulous beaches, snorkeling and coastal walks. It is roughly equal distance to the lush North Shore and, in the opposite direction, west side beaches, Na Pali boat tours, and hiking and vistas in Waimea Canyon and Kokee State Parks.

We recommend guests bring or rent their own masks, snorkels, fins and life jackets, if desired, to ensure proper fit. We provide lots of beach stuff but not boogie boards or umbrellas as they break too easily even from normal use.

We recommend purchasing Trip Insurance from a reputable company to avoid loss in case of unforeseen circumstances such as pandemic, weather, strike or illness. We buy it for ourselves when we travel.
