Guest Access:

You will receive a link to an online guest book when it gets close to your arrival date. You will receive the link by email and text. The home has an electronic lock at the bottom level where the cars are parked. A code will be generated into your guest book just before your arrival day.



The Neighborhood:

Hoone Rd, fronting Poipu Beach Park and Brenneckes Beach, turns into Pee Rd. This winding street is a popular place to watch the sunset on the wall fronting Nihi Kai or to walk one way and return to the Poipu Kai Greenbelt.

Getting Around:

When visiting Kauai, we highly recommend renting a car to enhance your experience and give you the freedom to explore the island at your own pace. While there are other transportation options available, such as the Kauai Bus, it's important to note that the bus service may not run as frequently as you might expect.



Having a rental car allows you to easily access all the incredible sights and attractions that Kauai has to offer. From the stunning Na Pali Coast to the breathtaking Waimea Canyon, having your own transportation

We stayed in two different VRBOs during our time on Kauai. This one was nicer. First off, I didn't see any roaches. Very clean! Large living room and TV if you have any down time. Very interesting shower/bathroom with a TV inside.One bedroom with a comfy king sized bed. We were fine without a dining table. We ate some snacks/breakfast using barstools/bar. We did use the washer/dryer in the unit. It is pretty loud, so don't plan on watching TV while doing it. There is an area nearby that had boogie boards we could use. Those were fun! When we arrived there were thorny bushes overhanging part of our space. I contacted the host and they cut them back while we were out. Hosts are nice and responsive.Cons: car noise from the road can be heard in bedrooms, but I didn't notice until about 7 am.

We had a great time during our stay in Kauai. The best part was the location. We could easily walk to the beach and nearby restaurants, which made everything so convenient. The provided beach gear was also a huge plus and saved us from having to bring or rent our own. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would absolutely come back.

We really loved the location and general condition of this rental! It was so easy to check in and they had everything you needed in the kitchen. The only two downfalls are that the A/C is not super effective during the heat of midday but by night time gets everything cool enough so it was comfortable to sleep! The other downfall is that the hot water only lasts about 5 minutes. It wasn't a huge issue during the day, but it was not possible to wash your hair without running out of hot water.

Comfy and Cozy Place, Walking Distance to Brennecke’s

The place was comfortable, cozy and clean with modern amenities. Liked it was quiet. The location is great as its walking distance to Brennecke’s Beach and quick drive into town. We had some slowness with WiFi but that was a quick and easy fix by resetting the router after calling for assistance. I would stay here again.

Great location with a short walk to the beach and has a view of the ocean (from the bedrooms). Nice amenities such as a w/d within the house along with detergent, Keurig with coffee pot/K-cup option and beach towels are provided. Clean property and great location

We all liked contemporary style of the property. It's very clean and the kitchen has everything, so you can cook meals for your family if you want to. In-unit washer/dryer is definitely a plus. Only complaint was the WiFi signal was kinda weak. No idea why. But it's not a big deal as we all have cell service. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely come back. Thanks.

Top notch rental!

We enjoyed one of the best vacations we’ve ever taken. The property was immaculate and very well-appointed. The high tech bathroom was amazing!!! The unit had everything we needed including beach gear - beach towels, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, noodles - you name it. The property manager was attentive and ensured we had the best experience. We will definitely reserve this rental next year!

Wonderful accommodations and stay

Overall had a great stay and everything was great. The air conditioners sputter water over the beds but figured that wasn’t a huge deal, just moved the beds. Internet and TV wouldn’t work after we got there. By 2nd day maintenance came out to fix the tv connection and it worked! WiFi remained very unreliable the whole stay. Mentioned this as a problem but didn’t hear back after the tv fix so guessing this is just normal for this property. Loved the extra shared storage area with boogie boards, snorkle gear, floaties, coolers, beach chairs/umbrellas etc! Unit had a washer/dryer which was a huge convenience. Windows to the back of the house were broken so we couldn’t really open to get a cross breeze (main room got pretty hot during the afternoon/evenings despite curtains being drawn and air conditioner set to 72/73). The location was great, no bugs, quiet, and we would return.

Nice value - good location.

This property had some great features - bathroom updates was incredible and kitchen had some wonderful features. Price was good for location and space. Could use a couple of updates - linens on bed, barstools too low, better couch - maybe a hideaway bed instead. Was very good but not great. Great location, but no lanai was a bummer

The location was ideal, just 5 minutes from beautiful Poipu Beach where 40 plus sea turtles sleep on the beach at sunset! Restaurants and reasonable grocery stores are all within a 10 minute drive. The beach stuff provided was really helpful [umbrellas, chairs, cooler] though the snorkel gear was hit or miss. The housekeeper was very helpful and friendly and let us use the lanai of another unit when no one was renting it. Not having a lanai in Hawaii was a bummer. We had decided that because this rental had an updated bathroom and kitchen it would be worth not having a lanai, but when we got there, the updated bathroom was problematic [the shower's water spills out onto the entire floor of the bathroom], and we just wanted to watch the sea and sunset when eating breakfast and dinner. I recommend getting a front unit with a lanai. The rental itself served our needs, though its minimalist look left much to be desired. Here are my suggestions for the rental: Have a front doormat, coat rack [for bags] and shoe rack, so walking in from the beach we don't track sand in the house; have a laundry line hanging on the unused back porch for wet towels and swim suits; have a dish drying rack that is not in the sink [the dishes just get wet again]; get new sheets for the beds [these ones are old and scratchy]; have a bedside light by each side of the primary bed; have folding chairs to sit on the back porch or to squeeze on the front porch; provide a bath mat.

Beautyful Place

It was our first stay on the islands. The property is very clean and good equipped with AC in all rooms and ceiling fans. There is a BBQ and you can borrow beach gear like chairs, umbrellas, bodyboards and a lot more. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautiful stay

My husband and I loved staying here for part of our babymoon. It was a lovely location within walking distance of Brennecke's Beach and Poipu Beach. It was nice to have access to beach supplies like an umbrella and chairs. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing, Relaxing Oasis

We stayed at the Dolphin Unit and absolutely LOVED our time. The location was perfect for walking to the beach and most of our activities were just a short distance away. We could see the ocean from our living room and thoroughly enjoyed the upscale amenities! 10/10 would stay here again!!

Amazing place

The location was incredible. It was a super short walk from Poipu Beach. There was a lot of love put into the property. There’s a gigantic smart flat screen TV in the living room. We loved logging into a streaming service on the smart flat screen TV in the bedroom and watching movies in bed. 2 people can shower in the bathroom at once and you can turn on music and even watch TV in the shower. The property was super clean. I think there’s something wrong with the bathroom pipes because the bathroom started smelling after we’d been there a while. The neighbors are a little odd and will talk to you when you take out the recycling so I suggest taking out your recycling at the end of the stay.

This property is in an ideal location- quiet, and walkable to the beach (Poipu and Shipwreck) 
10-15 min both ways. The unit is comfortably sized for 1-4 people with a large living room, w/d, and full kitchen. The bathroom was upgraded generously with a lot of tech features - fan/mirror lighting/luxury toilet/double showers/shower tv. However we had terrible ant/pest issues and this had happened after one night’s stay where the unit was still very clean and no food left out. We consulted property managers, they brought pest bait but it didn’t resolve the issue. We asked for more support but they asked us to wait it out. We also encountered lizards and massive cockroaches that made their way into our unit (our door was never left open unattended). The property had communal use beach equipment and managers who dealt with customer relations were very pleasant to talk to. For the amount we were asked to pay, I felt like the pest issue could have been handled better or resolved before we came to stay (apparently it’s a known issue). The parking spot is cosy and nestled next to the unit, on a steepish slanted hill.
